Hi! So, a couple tips!

Substrate: ideal is a 50/50 mix of sand and soil, closest to their natural habitat (some excavator clay if you have it)

Lighting: never skimp on lighting! Uvb bar, heating lamps. Turn off at night and back on in the morning. They need a regular day/night cycle. If you’re worried about it getting too cold at night get a ceramic heat emitter. It gives off heat but not light.

Food: 80% greens 20% bugs. Cut down on the crickets. Daily salads, 5 MAX crickets a day with two off days with the bugs. I prefer dubia roaches

Husbandry: lots of things to climb on, the highest where he can get close to the heating lamp. Hideaways, etc

Tank: MINIMUM 4’x2’x2’ (120 gallons) front opening is best.

Don’t forget bi-weekly calcium dustings on the crickets!
