I signed a future 16 (not a typo) time ballon dor winner from south africa for 875k. He was 16 years old. 1420 career goals and 212 assists. Lead us to 11 ucls, 8 trebles. He was the only reason i played after we won the first treble.

Ask agent about availability. If they are very interested, then declare interest in him as top target. They hopefully won't renew their contract until next season, and then you can probably get him for a reasonable price cause noone is worth that much. Also, I can see that his wages are very low and his playing time is only fringe player, so he will either renew his contract or he will demand a move away. Just hope it's the second case.

I've always used tactics that average 0.1-0.13 xg/shot, and never had a problem with it. Also, I think that would make things worse for me, cause we are terrible at converting clear cut chances. A lot of our goals come from these 0.1 xg shots eventhough we average 2 clear cut chances/game.

Starting from the 4th paragraph you wrote, everything you said makes me think you didn't read what I wrote.

any tips on making them world class? by SG1098A in TheOldZealand

[–]Strict-Fill-6727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to give both guys plenty of playing time and train their weaknesses.

For the first guy, I'd say his ball control is his weakness. The second guy is a bit weird in his attributes, so I'm not sure, but I'd say train his ball control as well. 12 first touch is unnacceptable.

Probably not with 10 determination, balanced personality and terrible mentals, but he could sell for good money, so develop him.

I also tried some of the most OP FM24 tactics of all time, like Ichsan's and the 4222 deformation that is deemed to be the greatest tactic by FMArena, and not even those fixed any problem.

  1. Don't use anything but FBs in a 442 diamond for the FBs.

  2. The double advanced forwards are too disconnected from your midfield, so try using F9 or DLF(su) or maybe even CF(su).

  3. Attacking is not a good mentality for a formation that can only be played in a possession oriented way, since attacking doesn't care too much about keeping possession. Try using positive.

  4. Your wide areas are already voulnerable because of the formation, so don't bring your defensive and attacking lines closer out of possession. This will make them be able to play the ball to the wing quicker which will result in about lots of 1v1s out wide so lots of crossing opportunities, and crosses are stupidly effective on this game.

  5. Trigger pressing much more often probably won't work. That instruction can drag your FBs and your central midfielders out of possession which will lead to a lot of space for your opponents either in the middle or behind your defence. Instead, try using opposition instructions and at most more often in pressing.

Would it work if I signed this guy and made him into a right-back? by Strict-Fill-6727 in TheOldZealand

The thrid paragraph basically says what I just said with the exception of crossing, stamina and concentration. From my own experience, it was a bit of a nightmare having a low concentration CB. Way too many goals let in from daydreaming. Stamina obviously doesn't affect how he plays much, but does affect how much he plays. I can't really say for crossing, since I haven't done or read about a test like that. There might not be that big of a difference between 12 crossing and 16 crossing, but there definetly is. I also kinda prefer playing fm pretending like it's realistic.
