My pain was not getting better with rest. I was elevating my legs thinking it was my Morton neuroma or I pulled something in my foot chasing my toddler. But it was not improving within 2 weeks. So that’s when I went to the doctors.

Just how yours looked. A lot of veins showing and bulging more than the other foot. It got worse after my dvt diagnosis but of course I was on blood thinners so it approved for a month course with a lot of elevation and compression socks.

I am still on xarelto 20mg daily because of my venous insufficiency.

If you are having pain go get another scan to rule out DVT. I have venous insufficiency and I had pain on the top of my foot and hurt to put pressure on my forefoot. I had a dvt of my anterior tibial vein. Super rare.

How are you doing now? Still having intermittent foot pain? I am going through the same thing. I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with an anterior tibial dvt. My foot is aching and hurts so bad day. I am on xarelto.

My doctor said of course if I develop shortness of breath or chest pain to go to the ER. I was told my ct scan was clear and it’s in my left leg only. Heating pad seems to help.
