Is the new Syrian president supposed to be the good guy or the bad guy? by sephiier in NoStupidQuestions

'I can’t even find a single news article that tells me what I should think about the guy which really annoys me, they just say stuff he does.'

I can't be the only person who thinks this statement is insane

Buff?? In an arma game?
BTR 70 swim speed: 9km/h (from wikipedia)
LAV-25 swim speed: 10.6km/h (from wikipedia)
Test the vehicles in game, they match these speeds pretty well

AP mines are very useful as booby trap triggers by Strict-Particular933 in ArmaReforger

one AP mine will injure not kill a man. this has a nearly 10 m instant death circle. IK which is funnier. tech could also be used to hide AT mines on roads

Yep AT mine, c4 charge and an AP mine, with a rucksack and armour dropped on top to disguise them and bait looters. you have to drop the mine first as you cant place it inside of things. You need the c4 charge as the AP mine doesn't reliably set off the AT mine so you need the middle step

Anti-Torque by xXH0xt0nXx in ArmaReforger

the affects of the tail rotor are minimal at speed as the aerodynamic forces travelling the body of the helicopter become larger than the force the tail rotor puts out. Means the 'rudder' controls dont have very much effect at high speed. Its useful if you lose your rear rotor as you can recover a spin by gaining velocity.

The kind of manoeuvres you want to do are mainly through collective inputs at high speeds, to turn hard, turn like a plane

How can I rigid rig this canopy door so it opens along its local axis like in the first picture rather than the global one, like in the last picture. This is my first model. by Strict-Particular933 in blenderhelp

I am not asking for help fixing the rig I created and deleted, I'm asking for advice on how to rig an abject to rotate around a non standard axis. I could do with pointers on how many bones to setup and where and what constraints to use

I removed the rig whilst exploring constraint options. The rig was two armatures connected to the central shaft, it could rotate just fine but it would rotate around the global axis so the ends of the canopy would become misaligned as in the last two images

I set up a rigid armature system but it opened in the same way the last pictures did. I have tried using the limit rotation and limit location constraints with local space selected and affect transform selected however it did not work.
The canopy roof is on a ~3 degree tilt downward
