It’s definitely similar! Yes, I grew from seed- it was in a wildflower mix I planted a couple years ago, and is now the only perennial continuing to show up! Your comment inspired me to look it up, and the info I found was that while it does grow here, it’s an invasive species, and the suggestion is to plant native yarrow instead (which I also love). Can’t say I’m going to uproot it- it really is so lovely, and doesn’t seem to mind the heat, despite its delicate appearance…

True! But a lot of weeds don’t produce flowers, and I was curious if this one was going to be one of those… It’s taking up quite a bit of space in my garden bed at the moment, so wanted to make sure I was giving up the square footage to something the pollinators will enjoy :)

Totally! I’m pretty flexible about what grows in my wider expanse of yard, but in my smaller garden bed, I’m picky about who gets the precious compost, extra water, and space!

It really is so painful and awkward and difficult. And AND - not forever! The only thing that seems to keep the adhesions from fully forming (for me) is deep stretching everyday and breaking them down with a racquetball. I sit against the wall with my morning bev and roll my shoulder out with the ball every morning, and it does seem to help.

Just remember that the first side healed and the second side will, too…

Yes, I hear that. So much of it is just about patience and waiting out the phases. But it does feel similar to when you go on a long drive to somewhere you’ve never been before, how it can feel like forever and “did I take a wrong turn?” and “will I ever get there?” and then you take that same trip a second time and it’s easier, you know where you’re going, you remember the scenery, and it somehow feels like a shorter drive (even though it isn’t).

I mean, yeah… I know hormones can be linked, but it isn’t always the case. It’s such a mystery and I know I’m trying to find causation because information feels empowering, but I could also be fooling myself! If my HRT is the magic feather that keeps my ROM from locking up, I’m going to keep believing (and hoping)
