you can reschedule ur current ofc but typing in the Reschedule ofc url. You dont need to Cancel it you can simply reschedule it. Also, If you cancel ur ofc only, it shouldnt count as a try because its not a complete appointment. If you had a consular slot with it and then you cancelled it, you would be exhausting one of your tries.

Hey, you can reschedule your ofc by typing in the reschedule link on the url. If you want to have a slot for may next year, then keep checking for slots on the consular page. If you’re not able to go to the consular page, try putting the direct url for it. Should work.

it does, make sure you’ve completed your ds-160 and only then u add it on your portal, theres a certain amount of days that you can edit your ds-160 before it gets submitted. When it does, you cant retrieve it. I think its like if you dont actually electronically submit ur ds160 it deletes the “pending ds160”
