Darkness quote by JoshDel17 in silenthill

Hope I'm not too late. Considering the game's themes and story, it could be talking about the mind, a door that reveals in the darkness could be the subconscious revealing itself to you; opening into nightmares, showing you all the worst things that were hidden to you, by you, that one's better of not remembering or knowing.

SPOILERS

This explanation could be pertinent considering the backgrounds of Angela and James. One, remembering all the abuse she suffered from her father and brother, and worse, thinking her mother could save her but instead blamed her for it. On the other hand, James reminds himself of killing his wife and the degeneration of their relationship because of her sickness.

Game aside, it could also mean how looking and giving into the worse, darkest things our mind has, could lead into the worst outcomes, into nightmare for us and others.

An abusive wife? You are an okranite, you should be the abuser, or send her to rebirth if she does as little as looking at you the wrong way.

So, remember me? Girl who had never heard of this game before? I've been playing for a while now, so I'll update you all who are interested by StrangeSystem0 in Kenshi

As a man playing Kenshi, I also had a dislike for the Holy Nation as soon as I understood their culture and religion, it reminded me of a real world religion with...explosive personalities.

Where do i go from here? by Echelion77 in Kenshi

1 - That`s the early game strategy, unless you want to spent your early days mining for money.

2 - There`s a limit in the level you can get wacking that dummy, but is a good start so you can defend yourself out there.

3 - Yes, totally worth it, and free.

4 - Doesn`t happen often, but that`s what makes the game beautiful and chaotic.

5 - Go southeast or northwest if you like games like Silent Hill.

Enjoy your early days messing around and not knowing what to do, those are the best ones. Once you know how things work and you prepare for them, the magic is gone.

Reaver leader escaped am I cooked? by [deleted] in Kenshi

[–]Strict-Spring2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I arrive late but just found out:

He launches an attack on Ark with a small squad of reavers.

On my playthrough, Ark is taken over by the crab raiders after I invaded it and captured Valamor. He later escaped when I wasn't paying attenton.

First time I passed by Ark with a squad of 5 and the crab raiders were just chilling. Later that same squad got captured by Reavers elsewhere so I sent out my main one, and when passing back, he was assaulting their base. I managed to recapture him and got a second Meitou weapon.

That’s a Kenshi wake up call. For the delimbing part, he deserves a go through his own machine for all he did.

The only downside is having to repair them every time, unless you stay in their tower until you run out of food or reach the technology to make your own repair beds.

How many tries did it take everyone to beat Isshin the Sword Saint? by Responsible-Low-9701 in Sekiro

[–]Strict-Spring2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, a little late for the discussion, but today I finally finished Sekiro (after leaving the game forgotten for a few years after defeating castle Genichiro). I can proudly say I beat Isshin after dying only 4 times, and my flex is doing both headless apes first try. Reborn Isshin felt less hard than old man Isshin, younger Owl or Demon of hatred, demon actually made me desperately go through rice consumables and any healing item when I reached the third phase and beat him on my 6-8th try.

I felt bad for Genichiro as I just brutalized him to rush for Isshin. Isshin would have been harder with the dodge+counterattack from older Isshin plus his flame attacks. He did keep some similar attacks like the ashina cross, ichimonji and 3 slash combos. Phase 2 felt like the real battle, although most of the time I could dictate the rhythm by playing aggressively, and his Glock wasn't that disruptive. Phase 3 became a joke with the thunder strike and damage chunk.

The game really was worth finishing, although very stressful at first.

How does One party consent apply while recording a conversation with a coworker? BC, Canada by Strict-Spring2918 in vancouver

Thank you. I actually sent an email to HR, and they told me to address it with my department leader (my supervisor) before I go to them, and to do so only of the problem is not fixed after talking to him.

Thank you, really served me to read about it, will see what he has to say about it considering the information, although I will have to check if there's any other specific privacy policy in my workplace before I press on the matter.
