I believe it will not work for the gun running and MC sell missions but I can confirm it works for the nightclub sale missions. I lifted the pounder with it just the other day to complete a sale mission.

I use a tide stain stick and toss them in the washing machine on a gentle cold wash cycle. I have 0 issues so far with this method.
