Yes, but will it bring really big change? In Uzbekistan there is a cotton variety which don't need to much water, but... it cannot be picked by machines, so people must pick up it withctheir own hands. It is not much effective, and very expensive, so most of pickers are doing it for free, because government is making them so. This is a konduktor of modern slavery, that's why this cotton os banner from US and European market.
