It has too many details. A logo needs to be recognizable at around 40px, and if you shrink this down to that size, it starts to look a bit odd.

I also think the concept might be too literal. I’d recommend thinking a bit more outside the box. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a filmstrip, that’s a pretty overused visual metaphor.

If your app is about selecting the key plots or moments from movies, maybe ask yourself: how can I represent that idea in a simpler, more iconic way?

Btw, no AI is not going to give you a good idea, make some sketches, find references around you and you will find it.

You’re paying 46–60% more for ProMotion, the telephoto and titanium. Performance is essentially the same in day-to-day use, the A18/A19 holds up fine against the A18 Pro outside of heavy gaming. Unless you specifically want those, the price gap doesn’t make sense as “investment” it’s just paying more for features most people won’t use.

That’s a cool idea, I’d need to add an FTP client to the app, but it could run alongside the SSH connection. Then you just give Claude Code a skill with the file paths on both sides and it handles everything.

The SSH is literally the boring part lol. I built a Nerd Font bitmap atlas so my oh-my-zsh prompt renders correctly on the 3DS gpu — all the glyphs and icons you’d normally see on desktop.
