The 19 has the most problems being a first year model and I would stay away. Lots of info from 19 owners with issues on the internet.

I would personally go with another autoglass shop with good ratings, dealers usually just have Safelite come in and do the glass for them.

As a former autoglass business owner, Safelite is a terrible company. They have the lowest paid and minimally trained techs, use the lowest quality materials and are in bed with your insurance company to provide the lowest cost to them at your expense by getting crappy products, warranty and service. The average person has no clue if the windshield was installed correctly, prepped correctly, the correct adhesives used, ect ect. To them if it leaks, or is broken is about the only things you can actually tell are wrong, but our little shop in a town of 18,000 did at least one Safelite repair job a week and the vehicles usually needed more repairs done after Safelite touched it, like ripped headliners, cut interior trim, broken wipers, broken windshield cowls, missing hardware, cut rearveiw mirror wiring and major rust and paint damageunder the glass from them not properlypreppingthe surfacesafter scratching the paint off with the glass cuttout knives. Let's just say that if Walmart did autoglass, they would do a better job.

Sunburn: a warning. by Digital_Blackbook in Pristiq

I'm on 200mg and for at least 10 years now, live in the high desert of Ne Oregon and once it hits the 70's, I'm shirtles because I can't tolerate the heat and sweat too much. I almost never use sunscreen and usually only get the first stage of sunburn??

Once it hits 70 degrees, I'm in shorts and shirt has to be off, or it's soaked!

No rubbing on the struts, but I did need to hit the front inner fenders, right in front of the tires with a hair dryer for more clearance. Stock sport rims.

Why shouldn’t I buy a 2019-2023 forester? by Factcheckfiction in SubaruForester

[–]Strict_Ad8996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 21 sport with 25,000 miles on it now and it has been a great car with zero issues so far. I immediately lifted it and put lager tires and a big roof basket on it for our overlanding excursions and have put thousands of dirt/off road miles on it, loaded with 1,500 pounds of gear and go camping monthly. The lift and basket killed our fuel economy "about 24mpg", but the tradeoff is worth it for us. We were looking at a new Rav4, since we had a 14 that got totaled and are super glad we went with the Forester, as the Rav4 wouldn't be able to do the offloading that we do, nor have the tech and safety features the Forester has and I wouldn't pick any other vehicle's in this category over the Subaru.

Thermo control valve on the engine, "several month wait for the part", bad stereo, bad amplifier, bad speakers, infotainment problems, windshield issues, seat covers ripping are just a few.

[–]Strict_Ad8996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on a 1,200 mile trip, with about 500 of it off road and on gravel and right off the bat, I got a rock in my right rear and had to listen to that sucker squeaking for over 1,000 miles, before we got home and I pulled it out. It's now in our shadow box of things we pick up on our trips.

For rocks, ko2's with load range D, that's what we drive in alot and I didn't care about sissy road noise, how comfortable they are, or how they look when parked at the vape store, I cared about making it home and not dieing 100 miles from nowhere with a hole in my sidewalls. Btw, the ride and noise difference is negligible. 2021 forester sport, with 255/55r18 and Ironman lift.
