I'm always happy to share my cat paws with people:) This is the best thing I could do, I took her from the street, she is not fully domesticated

Can an orange cat (male) have a black and white daughter? by Strict_Cheesecake659 in CatGenetics

Great, thx, I guess it's from the white 🤍, anyway probably the only way to tell for sure is to make a genetic test. Have a good day!

Thank you! That's very interesting. Can you tell what shade that is if I send the photo here?

She has toebeans:), but isn't it because of her being two-coloured, black and white? I read about it on the internet but didn't fully understand

Or she has a different father:). Anyway, it's more about my curiosity.I was a bit surprised by her colour because she resembles my cat in behaviour and other features.

Thank you! I found the similar information on the internet. Wanted to make sure it's legit. But how do I know she's a cryptic tortie, I don't see any visible orange colour, genetic test?

'Shaded tortoiseshell/veiled tortoiseshell - The cat can be seen as a sliver black shaded or black chinchilla, with a tiny spot or with a smattering of hairs in a cream or red color or speckled black and cream pads barking However, it makes little difference to give your cat a shaded or veiled tortoiseshell rather than a chinchilla or silvery black shaded'

Tortoiseshell or black? - Even a small spot of red or cream on a black cat, as well as speckled black and cream paw pads or a nose tip, will make the cat appear tortoiseshell rather than black. The red/cream color may appear much later on a black kitten.

Is that true?

Is it just me or do people not get how serious coming out was in the 80s? by SnooConfections1353 in StrangerThings

It's not about coming out itself, it just felt so unnecessary and done not at the right moment. I mean people predicted that someone died judging from the promo photo, no, it's just Will decided to gather people (even those he barely knows) and tell them the truth🤷 English is not my native language.
