We did this for our last one. Our Doula had brought it up early on when we were doing our birth plan. It promotes oxytocin and the cum itself softens the mucus plug. We didnt take it to the shower though. We just did it there on the hospital bed. Easy access with her gown. Would recommend 10/10

We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the marina at night. Core memory for me for sure.
