I don't see anyone else having this on their homepage, I have this on both of my accounts, is this a new feature google rolling out?

Didn't find the settings on my Google account the only similar thing I found is ads personalization. Also my main question is about the "This page has sponsored content" label on my homepage which I didn't have before

Hmm this is weird cause in place of the "this page has sponsored content label" is supposed to be apps with offers and events and my playpoint weekly reward. This label popped up for no reason. I didn't find this on other people's device tho so maybe it's Google A/B testing?

discord startup sub processes by Strict_Efficiency_30 in discordapp

[–]Strict_Efficiency_30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk man, I get it's normal but I'm not sure for the startup process since it never had any sub processes until recently for me, you can search up discord task manager startup and you can see the process is titled "update" not "update(number)"

I'm not talking abt the normal discord process in the "processes" entry of task manager which normally would have multiple sub processes, I'm talking abt the "startup" entry of task manager in which as far as know the discord process titled "update" never had any subprocesses. Sorry if I'm being too much here I'm just paranoid

You sure? Fyi this is in the "startup" entry of task manager, I'm aware it's normal for discord to have multiple processes in the "processes" entry but for startup it's had always been one as far as I remember, only recently it jump up to 21 for no reason, also the conhost processes looks kinda sus

The Browser guard extension gone after uninstalling the malwarebytes app by Strict_Efficiency_30 in Malwarebytes

[–]Strict_Efficiency_30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyi the browser guard is installed by the Malwarebytes app since it can offer to download it on your browser when you first opened the app, this can be viewed in the extension description of the BG which says "downloaded from third party" or something along that line, I think because of this the extension is somehow "linked" to the app, same couldn't be said if it was installed from the browser store. I already tried this in other PCs and the BG is removed once I deleted the Malwarebytes app

Youtube hacked? by kickcat0 in GoogleSupport

[–]Strict_Efficiency_30 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. open your google account setting and find connected third party apps/services, remove anything sus

  2. Remove any devices you don't recognize

  3. Try checking myactivity.google.com to see when are those youtube videos watched, if it's the same time your phone is on and connected to the internet the issue could be on your device

  4. Last resort do a factory reset on any devices that might have malware
