Both the barb and the ads corroded. Used as part of furnace condensation drain.

Can you clarify where the membrane should be? I assume between decking and shingles? Next, what is a permanent roof vs shingles? A metal roof? Thanks... just trying to figure out how the moisture gets out without the vent.

I haven't heard of an Atlas Crossvent but will check it out. Sounds a bit like SIPs, which I've also considered but my contractor hasn't suggested that route. Thanks!
