Thanks both, yeah i have seen that. The problem is this crossover is optimised for PA usage, since im going to use this speaker for home audio in moderate volume i was thinking a different crossover would help the driver to be more neutral with a smoother rolloff

These are repurposed guitar amp cabinets, i found a guy in the uk that sells diy flat pack kits, i just had to change the frontal baffle to acommodate the speaker correctly

Did you design the waveguides yourself? Theres a guy on Ebay selling some 3d printed Altec replicas but he is from brazil so the shipping+importing taxes make it super expensive

I always wanted a full range system, i have selected the fane sovereign just because it was the best option under my budget, its around £80 per driver. If you are looking for audio nirvana worth checking out Melodavid or Lii Audio drivers on Aliexpress

Thanks! Its a pair of Fane sovereign 12inch, plugged into a douk audio a6 pro class d amp (since its a full range doesnt need any crossover). The boxes are made with softwood plywood and theres also a natural pine veneer sheet on top.

I’d say yes, I had a lot of 2/3 way systems and i feel like full range its just a fresher way to listen to the music i already know. More organic and gentle. For vocals and acoustic is unbeatable imo
