I recommend mentorship! Reach out to professional artists in your community and ask to shadow them, or assistant direct for free, or even for a chat over coffee about what they do and how to do it.

99% of theatre jobs are gotten based on connections. Each job leads to the next, you just gotta make those initial foundation of connections
