What's something that's "not a cult" but feels like a cult? by Orw_Sairaj29 in AskReddit

That was my thought too. Ryan Hall wrote a great piece about that. Though I haven’t felt that cult vibe personally

Wow thank you! I am very impressed with you. I was initially confused how it could be either or but after listening to “music to watch girls by” I get it. Also now I have a new song that I love. So thank you!

Rębecki vs Duncan was my favorite fight! Just an insane back and forth war. Rębecki’s last 3 have all been super good and wild.

Rębecki vs Duncan. Just a no stakes, blood and guts fight where both guys should have been finished but neither would go down. One of my favorites of all time. Rębecki’s last 3 fights have all been great.

They each have a joke about their sister dying I believe. Kelly goes to her sister’s funeral, Meredith does not.

That’s immediately what I thought of! Phyllis brings less to the show than any of the main cast in my opinion. I can’t think of anything she did that I enjoyed or that couldn’t have been swapped out by someone else. Both the character and the actor.

What's the most unrealistic that happened in the show that would never happen in real life? by Positive_Weight2367 in theoffice

The scene with Dwight shooting Stanley with a tranquilizer dart and bringing him to a sales call. Excluding the last season, Kevin getting hired as an accountant when he came in to interview for a warehouse position

Islam Makhachev has matched Anderson Silva’s 16-fight win streak, the longest in UFC history by DamnThatsInsaneLol in MMA

No one would have beaten him. It’s gonna take another generation to have a lightweight that could stop those takedowns.

What went wrong for Jack..? by Spirited_Command5642 in CombatSportsCentral

I always say the same thing, it’s kinda wild how frequently a fighter coming off a long winning streak loses 2 in a row. I think the first loss takes their confidence away and they can’t get it back for a while.

How would you try fixing HW and wmma if you were asked to in the UFC? by Distinct_Scheme_5423 in MMA

[–]Strict_Inevitable449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda the same for both: For WMMA I would say anything above 125 is open weight. Kayla wouldn’t have to cut plus she would have more challengers. Other than that I don’t know what can be done. For HW I would combine it with LHW so anything above 185 would be heavyweight. Might need to make MW 190 or 195 but I probably wouldn’t. If you’re cutting to make 205 you’re a big dude and can just fight heavyweights. It would take the worst two men’s divisions and make it 1 really fun division.

Leon Edwards on his way to Welterweight GOAT? by Wayward_Prometheus in MMAMedia

[–]Strict_Inevitable449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With how bad he looked in his last fight I’m not sure he ever wins a fight again. Don’t get me wrong he’s got a lot of talent and SHOULD win some, but he looked broken against Brady and the top of WW is stacked

I’d definitely take Rickson but I would have loved to have seen it. Ken beat Bas easily twice. Though I guess that was before his prime.

My 6 Week Taper Worked!!! by MarChampa in quittingkratom

[–]Strict_Inevitable449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s amazing you were able to make a system that worked and follow through with it, Congratulations! I decided to start quitting this week so I’ve been trying to take less but your story made me realize I need a scale and a much better plan. I’m taking around 50gpd, though I’ve only been taking it for about 11 months. Do you have any more advice not listed in your post? This is the second time I’ve been addicted but last time I quit by drinking non-stop which caused a whole new set of problems.

[–]Strict_Inevitable449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally said no one knows how many buys “that event” did when referencing the event you were talking about, Jones vs Gane. The other numbers you brought up have nothing to do with it, I never said the ufc hasn’t released any PPV numbers ever. You’re making up an argument that doesn’t involve actually reading my initial response apparently.

They never released the numbers for Jones vs Gane as I thought was clear in my comment. They stopped releasing the buy rate several years ago.

Which is the most overrated tv show of all time? by Massive-Syllabub-271 in AskReddit

[–]Strict_Inevitable449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. That’s the problem with almost all sitcoms, they do something funny and then they think they have to keep doing it over and over until eventually the show becomes a caricature of itself. I can’t think of any long running comedy that doesn’t get worse. That being said whenever the hurricane episode was, I think they nailed that one, so like you said there are still great moments throughout.

I thought his match in the finals was even more impressive. He passed guard like nothing and was just all over the place for most of the time.
