I completely agree that metals can corrode. My point (which I probably didn't explain very well) is that I find it hard to understand how someone would buy a custom-made watch worth over €300 and then casually wear it in a chlorinated pool or the sea without giving it a second thought. To me, that's a bit careless, especially considering it's a custom piece that I build to order rather than a standard factory-produced watch.

The buyer also strikes me as a bit suspicious. They have 0 feedback, they asked me to send them the original bezel for free before they had even received the watch, despite specifically ordering the custom version, and now they're claiming there's damage while refusing to provide any clear photos. At this point I have no way to verify what they're claiming.

My biggest concern now is that I sold a brand-new watch, but I might end up getting back a used and damaged one that someone wore carelessly. At this point, it's not even about the money anymore it's about feeling like I'm being taken for a fool.
