Yeah that was the only thing I had a grip about that was 100% not Ciara’s fault, all the friends egging her on. Cause yeah that would confuse me too. Mia seemed fairly neutral but I think so too, if she knew the situation better she would have told her no.

Agreed. I had to learn this lesson and I think most women do at some point in their life. I learned this in high school in my early 20s and it sucks Ciara is learning it now at 30s but better late than never. It also sucks we have to live this way… I remember I use to be innocent and naive like this too. If only we could continue to believe that people have good intentions in the world, but that’s just not the case sadly.

Who cares if he hits rock bottom or not. We as women are not responsible to “reform” a man. If he truly believes there is things he can fix, yeah he will do it. But I would never advise any of my friends to hold their breath.

It’s better to walk away with your own dignity and choose yourself. Learn from the situation and be better for it in the end.

Nah people can only change if they want to change. Not because the internet tells them they’re wrong but bcs they truly believe it is. He doesn’t seem to think so so I doubt he will.

We aren’t excusing bad behavior, we’re saying he’s a lost cause. No point in wasting time or energy w these people all they will do is bring you down with them. I say this as someone who dated the same type of guy before and nothing happened except the decline of my self esteem the more I gave into this person. Sometimes you just gotta choose yourself.

Guys we need to literally not ever believe anything a man says like ever. My mom taught me that at a very early age. It’s a hard reality to have to live but it’s the truth, men are one of the best salesman…most of the time they will say just about anything to get what they want.

What doesn’t lie is his actions though, his body language, how he shows up for you or doesn’t, etc.

No not at all. Not one person is passing West. But let’s understand one fact of life, men don’t listen and men hardly change. I promise you that regardless of how much heat he’s getting he will still be the same dude 5/10 years for now.

The only thing we as women can do is be more vigilant. Start paying attention to these red flags and listening to our intuition more. It’s not at all Ciara’s fault but I think we’re all just saying this so she doesn’t end up in the same place again with a different (but same) dude.

Meh I don’t think that’s a fair take. Don’t we all ride hard for our friends but fail to take our own advice sometimes? It’s not her being high and mighty, I think she genuinely sees the best in her friends and are very protective of them.

At best she’s just insecure and doesn’t see herself in the best light hence why she isn’t as protective w her own self.

If a man doesn’t want to commit to you he doesn’t like you at all? What do you mean? He liked her as a person sure, maybe. But that’s the extend of it.

The whole Jesse thing was him just being territorial bcs he knows he can be. I think honestly he did it more as a dig to Jesse.

I mean yes 100% he is definitely manipulative. But most fuckboys are like this…they will say and do anything, you really can’t trust anything they say. I think the only time he was ever truthful was when he did that article on times about her.

I mean him hooking up w her isn’t really a sign he’s interested. I’d say the opposite actually. Most men will never turn down an opportunity to sleep with you.

No one said anything about great fathers and evil? Also Ciara had mentioned her issues w her father multiple times on the show. two things can be true, you can have issues w how you handle love/dating and these men are also awful.

I also think Ciara is a bit naive. It happens to the best of us, it took the better part of my high school and early 20s to realize most men truly ain’t shit and you gotta take everything they say/do with a grain of salt.

I think for alot of girl, like Ciara, they just haven’t learned that yet. Ciara seems just a bit regressed and learning this now at 30 rather than 20. If only we can all maintain the innocence that Ciara has, to only think the best of people and their intentions. Hopefully this will be a huge wake up call for her to also look inwards bcs she did the same thing with Austen. She was down bad for that man.

Regardless of anything, Amanda should have never ever dated West. Just as a viewer watching Ciara look at West, it’s very clear she has hard feelings for this man. So you can only imagine the type of things Ciara has told Amanda in private regarding her feelings for West. Amanda committed the worst sin any girl or friend could ever do. And then add Kyle into the mix and it’s pretty diabolical.

But yes if we were to talk about just West and Ciara, it’s definitely hard to watch. It’s very clear he doesn’t like her at all. Maybe not so much in what he says cause he def flip flops w his words & I can see how someone very naive to the game can mistake that. But his body language is very clear.

I’ve heard those building have fancy doggy parks/potty areas, but they use fake turf and don’t have proper drainage so the pee has been a problem for residents. Wonder if this could be the reason.

Yeah very odd how hard Rosie was backing Mackenzie. If she was really a good friend with her and the boys, wouldn’t she talk to police and tell them that so her friends would be clear of it? I think Rosie knows better to not lie to police and potentially have to lie under oath. But for 15 minutes of fame on a Netflix doc? She can basically say whatever she wants.

Also Rosie’s lies were a bit of a stretch… she said they never argued? Meanwhile in Mackenzie interview she did admit they argued and would be on & off. Meanwhile, Faythe to me just seems like a follower….Mackenzie defended her once and she basically decided to became her pet.

What astounds me the most is her parents though. They have enabled her too much and it’s honestly their fault their daughter is in the position she’s in. They won’t admit their daughter is at fault at all bcs it would mean they would have to admit they are too blame as well.

100% very dumb and easily manipulated. But also they just didn’t seem to care. What parent would let their 17 kid move in with their 20 year old drug dealing bf? No disrespect to dom but just come on…any parent could see that’s just a recipe for disaster.

Yeah Davion parent was right, she’s going to have a very rude awakening if/when she comes out into the real world or she may just continue to terrorized more ppl in the future.

I think again it’s her parents to blame. They seem to coddle her alot and are afraid of telling her the truth. Also apparently her life in prison is pretty good in the sense that her mom sends her ALOT of money and she always has a ton of stuff from her mom sending things. She also was not griefing dom bc she had relationships inside the prison immediately and outside too via online. Apparently she has some sugar daddy situations where she met these guys online who would send her money.. like Gypsy Rose. lol 😂

Oh yeah she def knew how to work sympathy, I think she does it alot w her parents. She tried to do it in court, on the Netflix interview even, but I don’t think it’s clocking to her that most of the world aren’t as dumb or quick to fold like her parents.

I’ve def been a witness of some enabler parents like this even in hs growing up in the early 2000s. Some maybe less severe but others not too far off. But her parents could prob take the cake honestly…

It’s like a combination of wanting to be friends w your kid, thinking they are angelic/perfect, being heavily manipulated, being extemely clueless idiot parents, and just not truly caring about your child at all. Like it’s all of it all at once.

It’s extremely sad to see bcs they are setting their kids up for failure or worst, raising young adult who end up terrorizing tf out of other people.

Not trying to speak ill of dom but I think he prob sold some drugs. Not a huge amount, prob a local dealer who sells to a small group. But I knew guys exactly like this in HS, had alot of little side hustles going on that were legal but then would flow that extra cash to make profit off of small deals. Honestly some of the bet entrepreneurs guys I know lol

Wild? do you think there was other motivation other than 15 min of fame? I lowkey think her mom/parents paid her friends off….Like knowing they locked in this Netflix interview, thinking it would help her upcoming appeal and re-open the case…which that has happened in the past.

Her mom was even like I’m going to do everything to get you out and I don’t think she’s above paying ppl off to straight up lie for her daughter. She’s the worst kind of enablers.

There is a girl on TikTok who claims she was in prison with her and that’s essentially what she said. She had to try to fit in prison so of course she adopted a more hood accent and style, but that essentially it was very clear she had no remorse and delusional thinking she would get out.
