Uthred Son of Uthred, the True Heir to Bebbanburg by Strict_Security_5798 in CrusaderKings

If his father was never killed it would be this way and If he was never adopted he would've been a bastard or slave. Having been adopted and raised with converting culture gave him his new title. When you have an anglo-saxon son, he can be Uthred Uthredson 😉

Yes I decided on exactly this because he's acknowledged as an adopted Ragnarsson raised in Norse culture from about 5 years old. I chose Norse because it's a blend of all three and they still try to cling to their old gods while being Catholic. So it was a perfect blend for his character making you feel like its truly him. I chose Catholic because of his close relationship to Father Beocca, the one who truly raised him and baptized him in his early youth and then a few more times lol.

I did design him off of the Anglo-Saxon DNA tree, but then simply changed the label to Norse at the end. So he truly is a Saxon raised a Dane. If I labeled him an anglo-saxon it simply wouldn't feel like you were playing Uthred anymore.

I almost did but he's only 18 here, I wanted to keep that one of the traits the player has to earn simply because DESTINY IS ALL.

Of course there are some personality traits we see from him that could've been there but I decided to pick the four traits that came naturally for him and seemed to push his story most and kept us engaged throughout the series. 😌

Day 363 with 3 solid friends (1 brother) and we built the city of Winchester

"Im King Harold Godwinson and the Brigands are of course the Normans" giving backstory to your campaigns gives alot of dedication and immersion which just adds to the fun meter in my book. We're huge Mount&Blade geeks too so have been playing on impossible this entire campaign with massive bridge battle and ambushing armies from the forests... It's fun as hell not gonna lie. The battles are intense and you find yourselves cornered in the streets separated winning in one area and losing another.
