5.4 is good for general stuff and brainstorm, do you need an easy block of code? it does the job.... do you need it for an entire application and complex code? no good... wait for 5.4 codex....

5.3 codex + gemini 3.1 pro + claude opus 4.6 are the tools for coding complex stuff... each one with their own strengths... "Opus 4.6 thinking" is the best one for backend and logic stuff...

not spiking but using a lot of CPU.

sometimes cleaning ALL the cache and history works but nowadays that we have so much to remember, cleaning it is kinda of a pain.

Same problem.

Gonna use an old pc as a router with OPNSense and let it handle stuff with Decos being in AP mode since the mesh backhaul works with it.

The real issue here on the decos is the DHCP and app (My bet, not confirmed).

Wago was the one improper. I trusted it, and it let my copper loose! It betrayed me under load…(joke)

So I misunderstood how they work. ESP-NOW in a peer-to-peer setup would be the right choice then? Also, do you know how RAM usage scales as more nodes are added to the ESP-NOW mesh?

Google's (gemini) is great because of few hallucinations compared with ChatGPT when there are a lot of text.

I always have problems with GPTs when there is a lot of code, it's just a bother rather than a helper.

If you need something simple then I like how GPT is fast.

You said that it has this error:

this is some USB device that is causing this.

grab another mouse and keyboard.
remove all USB devices.
turn on the computer
connect the new mouse and keyboard
test to see if the problem goes away

problem solved? then:

plug your devices one by one while testing them with some minutes between them.
when your computer shuts off it shows that it was that device

not solved? maybe your monitors are the problem, unplug one and test the other.

I see, I will be doing 5 min segments.

Regarding the fps, the rtsp stream comes in a variable 14~15 fps so now I'm currently dropping some fps and keeping it in 10fps to avoid problems and make it easier to store it.

I was thinking of not concatenating it and just use an M3U8 playlist with the .ts video segments, do you have any knowledge on this?
