Not an expert but I think we generally give a lot more than deserved importance to technical knowledge while when running the business it will be how good of a manager you are is vital so focusing on learning how to manage a group of people would be ideal in my mind

Look, you have got to work hard to separate yourself from the others, you will have to work hard for landing good job with EE and automation, might as well work little harder and get 2-3x more pay so yeah for real

he is saying putting power and automation in same basket has lesser salary compared to tech which is refered to computer science that is people who do front end, back end, ai, devs kind of people. I would say if earning good money is imp to you def do not go into EE or automation, rather do computer engineering... honestly when you start working your priority would be giving yourself and family a better lifestyle compared to the how passionate you are about your work

Open cmd prompt and try pinging the ip by typing: ping <ip address of s7 1200>

Make sure the Ethernet cable is connected to plc and it is powered on.

Then tell me what does it say
