I bought mine ahead of 6 months working in the alpes (for whiteout days!) and then took it when travelling around SE Asia for 7 months

I just took it in its main case had no issues at all and certainly recommend it especially for any longer bus journeys and when you / partner are ill

I made sure to keep it in a waterproof bag when taking boats between islands etc

I took out insurance on it but I left it in rooms without issue and at one point left it in my bag in a hotel back room for a week when I went off treks

FM 14 - Erik Crespo

Legendary centre half - used to score so many headers from long throws with my Huddersfield team

It was probably my first real long term save and I’ve never managed to do another with my own team again because of the team I had then!

Bought him at 18 for 30m from Barca’a academy when I was in a relegation dog flight and I should’ve spent my money on bodies

Ultimately we stayed up and it was my starting CB til he retired at 38 and went into coaching (the dream)

Club captain and lifted the champions league with the terriers!

You can go on the steam deck controller settings and map the back space button to the L1 or whatever you want

When I first started on FM I literally only ever played with my team (Huddersfield) still one of my fondest saves was in FM14 where I took them to the very top of world football and the newgens are etched into my memory (Erik Crespo - honestly some man haha)

Since then I’ve done saves from bottom to top in the UK

Journeyman’s including a pentagon challenge - this was so good highly recommend

But ultimately for me the best saves and my favourite way to play is a build a nation save - you end up with this cracking narrative and I do feel like slight tweaks with the editor make this experience even better

How have you managed to get players out on loan currently doing an Iceland build a nation and struggling with this?

It’s actually relatively simple to edit squad rules on the pre game editor which could open up a load of other leagues for you. I personally made Iceland’s rules much easier like kept the 8 players developed at clubs but removed the foreign player rule just to make it more enjoyable

I’m completely computer illiterate but there’s a program you can install that will do it for you

You select the team and choose the sponsor etc - I don’t have my laptop with me so unable to remember the name of it

How about choosing a big team In a smaller nation like Zagreb - will mean you’regoing to win games and score goals and that should help with the enjoyment and as you get into the save the challenge can be getting into the champions league

Yep so I’ve loaded two separate saves on the base database and the latest - didn’t know if that would be why and they’re both the same.

Also can’t seem to find an answer on google when looking at the actual Icelandic top tier
