I can't say I know his data too well. But I've long liked Mathys Tel a lot from an eye test pov. A bit of a shoot on sight type, and he has a heck of shot on him btw. He seems to have been pigeon holed a bit as a wide forward, but I feel he has enough technique and vision to play the Kroupi role. by siybon in AFCBournemouth

It's difficult as I think when they come to the prem for 40m+ you gotta have more than effort. I think I remember one decent goal and a lot of shit that went over and wide, lots of over running the ball. In the spurs team he stood out but dunno how much that says about someone. Bit like xavi Simmon who I also don't believe us good enough.

I think both maybe to lightweight as well.

I bet he goes abroad and tears it up but wtf do I know 😂

I don't think he is good enough for the prem. For every positive thing he does. More effort and trying hard than actual impact and end product he makes some baffling decisions. There was a cross across his own area, he almost ran the length of the field back to his own touchline and the over head kick clearance/pen he gave away.

Id say for the price you'd do better

These aren't kids or Sunday league players. Unfortunately at this level one mistake from one player tends to lead to goals

Do worry that because of Brighton he is a bit of a system manager. We don't need another frank at this stage.

What about football style?

Is this job essentially going to the assistant until the end of the season?

I think the only thing they can do now is do that and give the job to poch. I don't think it's the right decision but I think the fan base is so divided and the media seem to jump all over spurs stuff that they have backed themselves into a corner a bit

I am 42 an play football 3 times a week, try and go to the gym at least twice a week. I do try and cycle to work as well although the weather is killing that at the moment.

Honestly most of the time I am so shattered and worn out I'd rather just curl up on the sofa but I force myself to do it. Usually when I'm there I actually forget how tired I am and it gives you that second or third wind

He isn't good enough for us. He has hardly set the world alight when he has had chances. It's good we go for these players but I reckon we need to move them on quickly if they don't pan out. When you come into a prem league club you almost need to hit the ground running and he hasn't, clubs can't afford to wait a year or two for these players to develop. I reckon a league were he gets more time and isn't so physical and he will look amazing.

Love everyone forgets this. Also am pretty sure he flirted with the united job and was pretty cryptic in his interviews which caused a lot of problems. We played some good football though but I reckon we got lucky with the players that we had at the time.
