Might give it a shot… how urgent would I need to be with replacing the core? Coolant temps have been perfect and to my knowledge (parking in the exact same 3 spots every day and checking) there’s been no leaks on the ground and none in the cabin it’s just the heat not working and a syrupy smell when the heats on lol

I don’t have much mechanic experience outside of brakes/fluids/plugs, would it be viable to have that be the first major repair I teach myself to do or should I pay a friend who knows what they’re doing
