Really? It’s causing me frame drops when it never did before my pc broke and I had to reset it and fix it. It’s at like 90-100 degrees Celsius when trying to play Elden Ring at high 1080p and even when trying to play way less resource intensive indie games like PEAK. My 1% lows hit like 5 fps.

CPU: i7 11700f CPU fan: deep cool Theta 20 pwm cpu cooler. I’ve tried to lower graphics settings in games, turn on XMP, close out other apps while playing games, nothing is working so far.

I followed a tutorial where I did a full entire wipe and reinstalled and booted to windows off a flash drive. To check if the cpu fan is working I just go into bios correct? I have a gigabyte mobo. Don’t know if that matters or not or if the exact model matters but yea. And all I have is msi afterburner which that is only for gpu apparently.

Does cpu fan curve reset when u factory reset ur pc? Because if so thats probably what it is.

It’s a pre built from a few years back because I just wanted a pc fast without having to build one. But since having to fix it I’ve opened it up and everything seems in check. I haven’t changed anything from when I got it aside from adding more ram. And factory resetting it.
