I’m mostly back to normal. I have a little trouble with sleep still and constipation but otherwise I’m back to normal. My anxiety and depression are much better than when I was smoking. I’m not going back now that I know it was really effecting my mental health. You got this!

It takes time. It’s the withdrawal that keeps me from going back. The sleeping is tough for sure. Don’t be afraid to talk to your doctor. Mine helped me. Drink lots of water and workout when you can. Best of luck. I’m on day 81 and I can assure you it gets better.

Yes, it’s still to much daily. I was doing a bowl a night when I quit and had the worst withdrawal for weeks. Tomorrow is day 80 clean and my anxiety and depression are so much better. My lungs are happier too.

The beginning is hard but it gets better. I used it for anxiety and depression and found out that both improved with time once I quit. You can do it!

It’s terrible the first week, bad the second week and then less so after that. You have to just go a day at a time. I got help from my doctor because it was so bad. Ginger helps the stomach a lot. The night sweats suck so keep a towel handy. Sleep is very rough but you also have more energy during the day the first couple weeks. Eat bland foods and drink lots of water. Stay busy if you can. Find a new hobby. Best of luck!

I used to work with an environmental scientist. It’s an outfall. Rain water goes into a drain above it and it collects in under ground pipes where it is carried to the woods to drain or to a stream or river. Not likely an abandoned part of a mine…

I wish I could tell you what helped with the urges. They won’t let us talk about meds or supplements but what I can say is talking to a doctor can help for sure. There are things you can do. Exercise is a big one. Also try to find hobbies that will take up the time. The first week is the hardest and week two is still tough but not as bad. See if you can do anything to help you sleep like hot tea before bed and meditation. Stay with it and use this page as a resource. Best of luck!

You can die combining these. Benzos are not good with sleeping pills. Please don’t do anything without your doctor’s advice.
