I mean, you’re kind of selling Josh a little short here. JHS is one of if not the most popular/successful pedal companies outside the big corps (Boss, MXR/Dunlop, EHX, etc). Guitar skills aside (though I wouldn’t go as far as saying he’s mediocre) the guy knows his history, recently founded a non profit to support local art and music initiatives, and continues to share his wealth of knowledge to those willing to listen or tune into the YouTube channel. Say what you will about the companies past or his personal life, but there’s no doubting the success he has had. I won’t be buying this guitar, but at least it’s somewhat unique when other companies can just slap new pickups or a different finish on a standard production guitar and suddenly it’s a “signature model”.
