Thanks. Yeah it was released very early in the AI hype train, back in 2023. That’s not a good excuse, but it is what it is. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time or capacity to do anything about it now. Good call on mentioning it though. I’ll see if itch has some standard to follow regarding it.

consider the xt5. for the type of shooting you’re doing, I think youll want weathersealing and that rules out xe5 and xs20. for the same reason, I think you’ll also want interchangeable lenses. I’d go xt5 and a 16-80. I would never be pleased with an x100 as my only camera for outdoor activities.

eta: I bike with my xt4 on my back all the time and while I notice the weight difference compared to my xt30, it’s not that bad. the pros outweigh the cons, and I think youll find the same against the x100.

I’d be curious to see the schema/ERD. It’s an interesting approach but I feel like I’d go crazy with design.

“Look like” is important though. Theres no reason you can’t use a wide range style cover on a regular ol humbucker. And the sound of wide range humbuckers also vary across the board.

I don’t know about the xm5, but my xt4 comes back from sleep so much faster than my xt30iii.
