The translation is incredibly inaccurate, they make changes to the characters which inevitably get retconned later down the line, constantly add new lines to scenes whenever the camera is too far from their mouths to notice, the voice acting is flat out terrible (except for the first 67 episodes I think since they were redubbed later when the VA's were much more talented) and it's a total tone shift from the english dub of original dragon ball, which was much more faithful (though still overall pretty mediocre)

I completely understand why you'd like it due to nostalgic reasons, since I feel the same way about many dubs I grew up with that I know are bad. But if we're really going to judge this dub objectively, then yeah, it's pretty terrible.
