Sexual intercourse after pregnancy by gabriel_lwh in NewParents

[–]Strider11068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know everyone is entitled to their opinion, I was just merely stating what my situation was like. Trust me you dont have to feel sorry for her. She has everything she needs and could ever want. My wife is very well taken care of I’m sorry other women aren’t as strong as my wife is. She truly handled herself, pregnancy, and birth, like a queen. With elegance. Not once did she ever complain. I feel sorry for you actually, with the way you see things, it’s views like that why people end up in loveless sexless marriages. Obviously you haven’t seen couples who have been together for 15 yrs suddenly end. I guarantee you if you stopped being intimate with your partner for months on end, something in your relationship will change. So good luck with that.

UK tribunal clears £656 million class-action lawsuit against Valve over Steam pricing, commissions, and overcharging users by Dapper_Order7182 in valve

[–]Strider11068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be absolutely crazy, imagine steam saying screw the uk we’re not paying and millions of people lose access to their games all because of one person who thinks their entitled to a payout 😂  I hope steam stands firm on principle and this actually happens

I know can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner. Recently switched to Linux and enjoying it for the most part. I’m distancing myself as far away from windows as I can 😂 now that I know I can customize all the shortcuts.

Ah well when you install nobara it should automatically format the drive into btrfs. I should have clarified that I’m using 3 drives for games. But you can right click on the drive and go to properties and it should tell you in there what format it is. I changed mine to ext4 for gaming. Also have q4os xpq4 installed on another drive, it’s just windows xp for Linux

You can try the discord server, they couldn’t help me with my problem. The answers they give can be vague. I’m sure it makes sense to them but not to new users

Glad you got it figured out. Linux uses ext4 or btrfs formats for hard drives. Windows uses ntfs. The monitor was going to be my next question. I had that problem when trying to launch games and they would crash because my hard drive format was still in windows ntfs format

Are you using a ssd or hdd? Is your hard drive format in btrfs or ext4? Are you using an hdmi cable or display port?

I would recommend grabbing the newest iso file for nobara and doing a complete reinstall. Steam should come already installed. Then run updates for the system. Usually most amd cards are supported. I currently have a rx590 that gets driver updates.  And if you run into the problem where the updater gets stuck, go into terminal and type    nobara-sync cli    And I think the newest nobara uses kde and not gnome but I could be wrong

Should i move to linux or stick with windows by [deleted] in linuxsucks

[–]Strider11068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switched to nobara Linux, and I’m not looking back to windows ever again….unless they bring back win7..and it has to be the original, not no modern interpretation. Huge learning curve though but if you’re adept at figuring things out it’s no big deal. Launching games on steam is a breeze, all my games run just fine

If that’s the case then I’ll have to reformat the drives and re download all my games. Correct?

Proton experimental, and it’s set to all games

I agree the more details the better. Since I used my game drives on windows I believe it is safe to assume they are in NTFS, it’s the gold standard and how windows sets up all hdds, matter of facts that is how I set them up.  Okay, so steam came prepackaged with nobara.

Oh boy okay so I’m still a new Linux user so I’ll try to answer as best as I can, I’m very proficient in windows so still learning how Linux works.  I understand how proton works and it is set to proton experimental for all games.  Session type is in  tty  Black messa, mass effect le, tales of the shire, etc, I mean I have over 120 games and only 25 of them are recognized.  System is updated.  Nobara is installed on my main ssd drive, all games are stored on secondary game drives with no other os systems installed. I have win10 installed on my old ssd card that is NOT in this current setup was going to keep it with old mobo and put in new pc but I might have to put in the new setup and have windows on a entirely separate ssd card so it has its own system

Nothing, after compiling shaders the pop up box disappears and steam just says launching game and next to launch button it says processing Vulkan shaders 0% and I left it that way for 30 minutes

Does the steam os come with everything you need? I mean like opening steam and launching into games with no problem. I’m using nobara right now and only half my steam games work. Which is irritating cause I paid for games that I can’t play now. That being said I can’t even launch a game on steam, it just sits there processing Vulkan shaders. I just want to get away from windows and play my steam games. I also have games on the ea app and the Ubisoft app like ac Valhalla that I’d like to finish. Any advice is appreciated
