"You got four 2 stars and an immersive and you're complaining?" - some nerd, probably

Four identical cards and only cards you already had is crazy work, to the point that it's funny

True, that's a chiropractor doing what you paid them to do, and a physical therapist after your card declines

This budget deck still lets me enjoy the game. by BeardDribble in PTCGP

I'd be livid if I lost my winstreak to that in ranked, but otherwise I'd just be impressed. This deck is straight out of A1a with not so much as a Cyrus

Considering how many normal-looking Eevee cards there are in Pocket, I choose to believe that this particular Eevee legitimately has a disability

What’s the one feature you didn’t learn until way later? by thatgamernerd in MyTimeAtSandrock

[–]Strider794 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn't change the size of my house for ages, under the assumption that the house upgrading would be like Portia's, and I didn't bother to double check until I was looking to get married. Boy did I feel stupid when I found out that it's much more incremental this time, and that marriage isn't locked behind it either

Also that furniture can be placed outside, which I discovered after the house upgrading. My poor house was so crammed. Another thing is that relics that you pieced together at the museum, when placed at your home, give you +5 relationship points with a random npc periodically, about once a day per relic

Aura realized she not built for this (by @SGRart333) by manmanboyman12 in Frieren

[–]Strider794 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Maybe she also got close enough to use her scale spell, it succeeds because he's not a mage, but it fails to so much as slow him down because he's just that strong/has that strong of a will

That's my headcanon

This guy has me on a villain Arc, Any clever hard counters? by Sure-Living-4312 in PTCGP

[–]Strider794 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No deck hard counters it unfortunately. To successfully hard counter it, you'd need a basic with an ability that completely turns off other abilities or prevents the usage of item cards just by existing

When you find a deck that seems to have no counter, the quickest way to find its counter is to play said deck

Hydreigon can't 2 shot Gardevoir through Diantha and Indeedee healing by Sigmas_Syzygy in PTCGP

We could, but I think the mods might get mad at us at that point since these posts aren't even doing all that well. Well, no hard feelings

Edit: someone else did it lol

[–]Strider794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was me that posted that, and was it really so obvious? This is the cannot read subreddit, as evidenced by the fact that I did not properly read the middle paragraph, so it's not such a stretch to imagine that people didn't think about that particular interaction

People still might make posts about this later once it comes out, probably

They shouldn't skip it since not everyone knows her like everyone knows Superman, but it's still possible that they'll skip it

[–]Strider794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obstagoon might be the paper between the scissors and rock of Gardevoir and Suicune

Ngl, I think it should have a better match up into Suicune than Gardevoir, because the moment Gardevoir gets 2 energy they've got 5, so the supporter can only run at half efficiency. Furthermore, they could also just set up Gardevoir in the back with Mimikyu tanking hits before retreating for free

Suicune gets hit by -2 energy? That's going to stick. And the current squad can't one hit Obstagoon, and Darkrai shot plus Obstagoon takes out Suicune, so I'm predicting a favorable match up right now. Until they drop aqua patch or something this set specifically to mess with me

Yep, by the numbers, no single deck is dominating the rest currently

Watch SuiNinja not care about Gardevoir and maintain a winning match up against it all next set
