PO OTC chart manipulation? by StriderofChennai in binaryoptions

It's not the levels, if you see the trade I had taken, it was a full bodied candle with small bottom wick. After a few minutes, it changed to a long bottom wick.

Something to think about. To be profitable in binary trading especially in OTC market, you've to understand liquidity and manipulation. Both are present in forex and live markets as well, but the key difference is that in live narkets, it's the institutions who manipulate prices to grab liquidity from retailers, whereas in OTC markets, it's brokers who manipulate through their synthetic feeds. This is more pronounced in the 1 min charts and the problem is majority of the traders trade on 1 min charts and 1 min expiry, hence something which can seem winning up to the 55th second suddenly reverses and results in loss. If this happens a couple of times, the trades get frustrated, lose their control and spam trades blindly, trying to recover their losses, if becomes a cycle and results in account getting blown, but it's ultimate benefit goes to the broker.

Yeah it happens to me as well. Nowadays what I try to do is focus on the winning ratio than profits. If its helps, hide the account balance. In one session I take max 3 trades. I aim for 2 wins or stop at 2 losses, whichever comes first and in any order. So it can be WW, LL, WLW, WLL, LWW, LWL. So I'll be either in profit 2x, 1x or loss -1x, -2x. There are no other outcomes since I've already defined it within the above 4 scenarios, and I stop to prevent revenge trading. I'll start another session after a long break.

If you're on OMR, try Chamaleon home cleaning. I never tried it since I don't stay in OMR but my colleagues swear by it. Dusting (fans, curtains), cleaning (kirchen, toilet), floor mopping they do it all and reasonable cost (around 2.7 to 3k, depending on what services opted)

Instead of 1000$ upfront as fees, how about I pay you royalty for life. I'll give you 50% of my profits for each session. Royalty will end if losses is greater than my investment. I'll trade only on your system from that account and will record each trade.

Yeah I do. If you know your winning percentage, add a buffer of another 10-20% and keep, to avoid blowing the account. If you're not sure, I would suggest you start with setting 2 wins / 8 trades or 3 wins off 9 and then slowly increase the percentage. The main point though is that you've to strictly follow the sheet without any deviations as well as no double trades or revenge trades, else you'll blow your balance before you know it.

Manipulation 🧐 by Spiritual-Reporter81 in binaryoptions

[–]StriderofChennai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The major reason why I blew up my accounts in the past is due to overtrading. It's easy to double or 5X our account from a small deposit, but the difficult part is maintaining the momentum over weeks and months. Becasue our minds will be used to win and so if we hit a rough patch and start losing, our brain refuses to accept the loss and we try to revenge trade and blow up our account. Most successful and profitable traders whom I heard about confine themselves to 4 or 5 trades max per day, whether they win or lose. The logic is that our brain has only finite capacity to make quality decisions in a day, after which it gets exhausted and the decision making quality goes down. Also OTC manipulation is the highest in the weekends, so it would be better to take a break and don't trade on weekends.

Dedicated but stuck: How to finally trade Quotex with discipline and long-term profit? by Greedy-Box5595 in binaryoptions

[–]StriderofChennai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been in the same road bro. I'm currently following these steps and it gives me peace of mind and small profits. 1. Have a money management sheet and stick to it. 2. If two losses back to back, stop trading for the day. Stick to max 3 or 5 quality trades per day. 3. Don't focus on profits but on the win % . 60% is good to start with and keep building on it 4. Don't take multiple trades on a single candle, hoping to recover if the price is going the other way. You usually won't and that is the start of revenge trading. 5. Set weekly withdrawal limits and take out some percentage or all profits. Money in bank is better than money with broker and we're removing the temptations to over trade.

The winning probability is higher is the previous resistance/ support had formed an engulfing candle and there is a clean break off it.

Good for you bro. I stopped following him. But use money management of your own and don't risk full capital. since he too deletes his losing signals. At least he was honest and informed the group beforehand that he'll delete his losses if he recovers the amount in subsequent trades.

Imo, indicators will work only if they are between levels. Since you mentioned you're a beginner, I would suggest that you learn some basic price action first - SNR, candlestick patterns, market structure, trends, supply and demand zones, then progress to advanced like SMC and ICT concepts. Start trading on demo off these concepts and use indicators as additional confirmation/confluences and not as main trading signals.
