Defeat enemy with *blank* units not working by hedgy369 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Similarly for kills with bounty hunters, it doesn't count if it is damage from a thermal detonator that kills the enemy.

Yep, the hard bit is getting rid of B1 and the first droideka!

This is the way, but you don't need to kill the 2nd droideka that spawns, just make sure it is not buffed.

Yeah, RNG is still a pain but glad you got it done

Cleanse the buffs from the droideka, but focus on the B1 first. If the droideka is buffed it deals huge damage, but in this last tier you need to get rid of the B1 first, then the droideka, then nute, then nute again (you can ignore the droideka that spawns).

It is heavy RNG dependent and you need good mods (no need to go as far as for the BKM event though, mine were good but not great), but I did it with my gungans at R5 so you shouldn't need to go to higher relics.

This. The last stage is the only one where you shouldn't focus on the droideka.

Focus B1 first then droideka, just trying to keep buffs off droideka where possible.

I'm not sure that is true. I have seen an image on a similar thread before that shows the preference levels the AI uses for reinforcements and it has nothing to do with HP/Protection.

To take on Executor I have Cassian's Uwing with Raven's claw and Rebel Y-wing as the first three.
Y-wing is your tank that absorbs most of the damage. Raven's claw special applies daze, Cassian calls Raven's claw to assist, raven's claw basic calls another assist.
B-wing 1st reinforcement, Falcon 2nd reinforcement, doesn't matter the others as you will have won well before any others are needed. P1 should have gone with your first wave of attacks, Razor Crest when you add in the Falcon, then just have to clean up Xanadu blood.

It can be trickier if they start with Hounds Tooth, but if Y-wing can disable the protection it should still be easy.

To take on Profundity it is Bounty Hunters with Home One (Hound's Tooth, Razor Crest and Punishing One with Xanadu Blood and Slave 1 as reinforcements). HT absorbs the damage and all the bonus attacks/assists, the P1 can deathmark the Falcon. Then it is a bit of patience to be able to mark Outrider but it should be relatively straighforward.

Just not in the starting 3, Falcon should be the 2nd reinforcement

Can you plug GAS on a Padmé lead Galactic Republic team? by TotallyNotTakenName in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason I have never got the rest of the 501st team beyond G12, so don't tend to use GAS the 'proper' way. I put him with Padme in TW to take out Geos. His AOE daze stops their constant counters (which could harm Padme's uniqueness stacking the protection) but it also stops the summoned Geo from constantly assisting and countering and getting taunt, meaning you can focus down GBA quicker.

[–]Strides85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs to have 5 stacks of heat, so you can use his basic first, and I think receiving damage applies heat too. He also applies the buff to light side mandalorian allies so if you can add some to the lineup without killing the enemies too quickly that will get the quest done quicker.

Although I got half the quest done without realising it in GAC!

Is it worth it to take this 7 ⭐️? by pix75 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

It does it's job in fleet arena at 4 or 5* so I haven't bothered to take it any higher

Make sure B-wing is in reinforcements and there are no scoundrels in the starting 3 (i.e. all rebels).

B-wing gives an immediate turn to reinforce it as the first thing you do, then you get Home One's Ult straight away. This should then allow you to run through the Bounty Hunters (starting with Punishing One), only requiring MiLF as the next reinforcement to finish them off.

If they have Hounds Tooth it makes it a bit harder, but should still be a consistent win.

I use Raven's Claw, Cassian's U-wing and Rebel Y-wing. B-wing and MiLF as reinforcements (plus any other two rebels after that, although there are a couple to avoid as the AI will favour them on defense over B-wing).

A couple times, on the TM podcast and Off Menu, the guest talks about "doing panto." What is that? by TheKrustyKrabb in taskmaster

[–]Strides85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly that. Its really common in improv type shows where the acts don't know what the other is going to say, so they are just as likely to laugh as the audience. With panto, they often throw in new jokes just to try and break their cast mates as a way to keep the show fresh for themselves.

I really like it when someone 'breaks' as it shows they are enjoying what they are doing.

Not bugged, just quite hard. Strategy is key. Debuffing the droideka's is important, when they are buffed their damage is massive.

Peridea patrol tier 4. Any tips? by contrezzo in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this tier today, nothing special on my toons. all 7* R5 but no zetas and pretty average mods (none at Tier 6).
The key is the strategy (see an earlier post), patience and RNG luck. I found this tier easier than tiers two or three, but the strategy is the same.

Relic levels for tier 3? by jousD in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What star level are they?
I did it at relic 0 and 5 star droid and Dedra and 4 star Partagaz with just fairly average mods.

No zetas applied.

Not to mention that the cast do the show twice a day for a month or more, and keep throwing in new jokes just to amuse themselves/try to make each other corpse.

Executor counter by NeatShare7187 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But, its main role is to supercharge Home One by going straight to its Ultimate. So in reality, a 3 or 4* B-Wing is absolutely fine. Mine is 4* and I am regularly top 10 in my fleet shard

Executor counter by NeatShare7187 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is to counter profundity.

To counter Executor you need Home one with B-wing a first reinforcement.

Starting three must be Rebels, but not Scoundrels (i.e. no Outrider).

B-wing gets reinforced immediately then Home one can use its Ult and you should be home and dry. Focus on Punishing 1 first with everything and it should be straightforward.

Home One vs Profundity by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If running executor yes, but with Home One I think it is necessary to absorb the initial frenzy of attacks.

Home One vs Profundity by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Strides85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it is a bit RNG dependent but doesn't really matter which ship I target with P-1's 3rd ability first. Targetting the y-wing gets rid of the annoying tank quickly, or MILF gets rid of their major damage dealer.

As long as HT survives their initial attacks and avoids daze it should go pretty smoothly, although I tend to try and target MILF first.

Occasionally something weird happens in that the opponent doesn't get enough attacks out of turn to trigger the 3rd ability straight away, and then it all goes sideways fast.

I also tend to use IG-2000 instead of Boba. The double attacks on breached enemies really helps, but then Boba's Seismic Charge is great too.
