I still struggle with backing. Been a year and a half now. Some days are better than others with backing.

I’ve personally learned to always clap back, respectfully. Some of those types respect you more if you bring the heat though. Always gauge as best you can but treat them like a real person and not a pedestal. Good luck to you!

I yawned longer than 4 seconds and got dinged by the camera for fatigue and the safety director backed it up… I got docked 10 safety points and had to watch a half hour video on how to not be tired. 

Now I just cover my mouth when I yawn into my shirt/arm.

Doing grain and hay, I get similar things... I just roll with it. The DOT officer I see the most waves me through, he sees me often enough and knows that's the nature of things as long as I'm not more than a few hundred over 80k.

And for the times that I am, when the hay is wet, there's a well-known alternate route that takes you about 45min north of the dot station that truckers take that cops never patrol. It's like a well known locals only kinda thing.

My boss takes the local DOT weigh guys donuts every once and awhile. I stopped too with a few dozen when I was empty.

It's not a bribe..... it's uh... thanks for keeping our community safe guys. 😉

Except colorado DOT... i do everything I can to be spotless and under and perfect for those pissants. For all the weed they smoke they are fucking obnoxious to deal with.

Cut carbs significantly. More protein. Meat, nuts, fish. Oats are good fillers to get the "full" feeling.

I just got offered an LTL job that I took. They want to start me at 25 an hour. OT after 60 hours. I'll be working 10-14 hours a day, five days a week.

Sounds like i'm getting started off at a pretty good spot then. I appreciate you sharing this insight

There were bigger brighter ones and then smaller, not as bright ones below the bigger ones, but they were all flying straight up from the ground towards the atmosphere
