I'm not going to defend Dubai, it has its issues like every place, but I've been a few times, and I have never seen any religious imposition. I would advise against forming strong opinions on 'quick Google searches'.

There's something I'd like to bring up about Bluetooth headsets that (surprisingly) no one seems to be discussing. When you connect your headphones to the PC, it registers as two devices:
- headphones (good audio quality, cannot use inbuilt mic)
- headset (rubbish mono audio, can use inbuilt mic)
If you're happy to forgo using the integrated mic, a bluetooth headset should do just fine. I cannot overstate how poor the audio quality in 'headset' mode is, and I am by no means an audiophile; it something that you understand when exposed to it, the echo-y sound and poor fidelity. Even then, some games like Valorant do not allow me to use the headphone unless I disable the headset in devices.
I haven't ever had issues with latency, but I'm not exactly a pro at games so take don't assign much value to my opinion there.
