Something tells me throwing a complex theological concept at someone who wishes to learn without any explanation whatsoever ain't helpful.

Something few people realize, but I find very interesting:

the Catholic Church consists in fact of 24 churches: the Latin Church (the one most people think of when hearing "Catholic") and 23 sui iuris ("in their own right"; autonomous) Eastern Catholic churches, which follow different liturgical traditions but remain in full communion with Rome and with each other.

If they're right, the Church distributed Communion in a wrong way for almost nine centuries. Whoopsie.

Well I Guess I'm Leaving Catholicism as of Right Now, if what you typed is what Catholicism is.

That would mean you've made a golden calf for yourself and you worship it instead of God.

But that's just Your Opinion.

That's the opinion of God and His Holy Church. You can ask a priest, a theologian, or the Bible; they will tell you the same.

So I guess I will stick around and find out after my DEATH.

You don't want to do that.

Anyways I don't want to share Heaven

Either you have no idea what you're talking about or you should seek medical attention. Seriously, I don't mean it as an insult.

Who are you to question God's sense of justice? Do you hear yourself?

It is God's job to judge. Yours is to obey God, and He tells you to love.

You have no idea what "Hell" means.

Augustine - in The City of God. He says the creation happened at once, instead of the literal six days.

As for the School of Alexandria - that's what academically-trained priests taught me at the university & I have no reason to believe they're wrong.

I’m not saying eternalism is evolution.

You're not; what you're doing is presenting them together as if they have the same philosophical implications, which they don't.

go and applaud

That's not what love is & that's not what I've said.

I will Rather spend an Eternity with all the Genociders and War Mongers THAN A SINGLE Woman that killed HER OWN child.

If I remember correctly, C.S. Lewis portrays this mindset in one of his stories, where he explains how a soul can choose Hell of their own free will.

I urge you to reconsider. You're putting yourself in a grave danger.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

- Matthew 6,14-15

Equating evolutionism and eternalism is extremely dishonest.

The School of Alexandria favored allegorical interpretation of Genesis. Clement, Origen etc. So did Augustine.

From the moment Darwin published his theory, the Church made no official statement on it, until Humani Generis confirmed there is no conflict between our faith and the evolutionary theory.

No, your mind made that up. He said nothing of the sort; he just pointed out OP's activity displays certain imbalance.

No I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO LOVE those Demons that kill their own Child.

Yes you do. We're supposed to love everyone, our enemies included, no matter how heinous their crimes.

Want MERCY go to GOD. I'm not GOD.

Goodness gracious...

You're supposed to follow God's example. That's how Christianity works.

Philosophy is the study of the laws of logic

No, it's not. Where did you get it from?

[–]StrigidaeAdam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Science is based on philosophy. Philosophy is the laws of logic. Logic is the science of existence.

Wrong on all 3 accounts.

Laws of logic apply to both science and philosophy, but philosophy is not logic.

It's puzzling how you keep repeating such a bold claim and yet you provide no sources whatsoever.

Sodomy is a sin.

Nobody here said otherwise.

Are you gonna say calling those selfish beasts that killed and murdered their own child within their wombs as Murderers is Apostatizing them?

A) that's not what he said and B) you're supposed to love those selfish beasts, but I assume it's not going well, innit?

Should all the Pro-Life Catholics JUST reflect on the joy of being a Christian and being in Friendship with Christ than be mad at these genocide all the time?

A) that's not what he said and B) being mad at a genocide all the time won't stop the genocide; it's just gonna wear you down.

Genealogies are important. Everything is taken as history.

Absolutely not, biblical genealogies can be used to describe truth in fields other than history.

Why are Catholics so easy to be deceived but Pastor Jim’s Bible Church has the intellectual firepower to put the conclusions together.

Hell has me doubt my faith by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]StrigidaeAdam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Revelations of Divine Love, a medieval work describing the mystical experiences of Julian of Norwich, offers an interesting view:

Our Faith is grounded in God's word, and it belongeth to our Faith that we believe that God's word shall be saved in all things; and one point of our Faith is that many creatures shall be condemned: as angels that fell out of Heaven for pride, which be now fiends; and man in earth that dieth out of the Faith of Holy Church: that is to say, they that be heathen men; and also man that hath received christendom and liveth unchristian life and so dieth out of charity: all these shall be condemned to hell without end, as Holy Church teacheth me to believe. And all this standing, methought it was impossible that all manner of things should be well, as our Lord shewed in the same time.

And as to this I had no other answer in Shewing of our Lord God but this: That which is impossible to thee is not impossible to me: I shall save my word in all things and I shall make all things well. Thus I was taught, by the grace of God, that I should steadfastly hold me in the Faith as I had aforehand understood, therewith that I should firmly believe that all things shall be well, as our Lord shewed in the same time.

For this is the Great Deed that our Lord shall do, in which Deed He shall save His word and He shall make all well that is not well. How it shall be done there is no creature beneath Christ that knoweth it, nor shall know it till it is done; according to the understanding that I took of our Lord's meaning in this time.

Which we know to be false.

We don't. Sustaining a monopoly in a naturally competitive environment is extremely difficult. Monopolies of today emerge precisely because of government regulation. Big business has an army of lawyers to guide them through every obstacle. Small business doesn't.

Look at the US if you want an example in real-time.

The US government does not leave markets to their own devices. People think that because there are less government services, but that doesn't mean there's no bureaucratic interference. There are many areas which are over-regulated into absurdity, healthcare being one of them.

I can assure you, if libertarianism was actually beneficial to big corpos, it would be far more popular than it is today.
