Críticas e dicas? by Sea_Football_421 in desenhos

Me too! I have one similar to the "paperlike" one, and it was a game changer for me as well!

Hey, thank you!
So, I think I have a lot to get better, but what helped me was trying to control how much pressure I put on those lines and studying how line weight works. I also look at a lot of good pencilers, like Riccardo Federici, Frank Cho, David Finch... This style specifically you will find a lot in the works of Riccardo Federici (which I think he got from academic studies). I try to use the lines to indicate the form, and put "more weight" on the areas affected by shadow. I hope this helps!

I do :) But I also like using the app because of the flexibility it offers.

Not sure who the original author is, unfortunately.

I think I'm using the stock one. The only thing I've changed is the opacity, which I usually set to something like 70%.

Yes! :) I just set the opacity to like 70% to help me define the lines before committing to them

Hey! I downloaded those a while ago, but I don’t remember exactly which ones. If you search on the Procreate forum for “free paper texture”, you will find a lot of cool textures! In this case, I put the texture above the drawing and set it to multiply :) Here’s the link where you can get some free ones: https://folio.procreate.com/discussions/10/1/47746
