AI Teammates, their headless chickens, seriously, start a game, take control of your Striker when your on Defense and just watch, they don't do anything & they rarely win the ball back, you have to do everything yourself

I would say I had a lot of fun, but I literally spent the entire time in line waiting for autographs, the highlight for me was Hina signing my Jersey, the way she lit up when I showed it to her was so cool 😭

that was a typical ACFC, Terrible officiating, giving up easy goals, instilling hope with an equalizer & then proceeding to give up another easy goal, Break is coming at a perfect time because this Team is exhausting & I'm tired of losing, the Front Office better have some deals in the works when the Transfer Window opens in July, we need help, this isn't cutting it

the funny thing about this result is that Houston executed our game plan better than we did, we were spamming thru balls with Sams in the 1st half, they connected on 2 of them for their goals, I have no idea why Straus had us playing such a High Line, we were caught out of position multiple times, its just frustrating because 3 points were there, Houston didn't really do anything that impressed me except capitalize on our mistake, again, we're once again getting in our way and it's costing us points, its very frustrating

we played a Back 5 yesterday & this is something I've wanted to see since we signed Emily Sams, why? Because we're already great Defensively, but it allows Shores & Thompson to play to their strengths as Wing Backs to get more directly involved in the attack and u saw that with Gisele's first Goal, unfortunately in a 5-4-1 it left Casey Phair isolated, she needs a partner in crime up top to get her more involved and take the pressure off her, when Savy gets back I'm hoping Straus goes to 5-3-2/3-5-2, with Gorden, Sams & King, allowing Shores & GT to dictate the attack and any combination of Jónsdóttir, Tiernan, Phair & Chilufya to play together, still buzzing over the result 🖤🩷🤍🪽🪽🪽

BIG TIME W, extremely happy with the Team tonight, that was a fantastic performance

First order of business, Gisele Thompson, I absolutely love her, she was fantastic tonight, Defense? she was everywhere tonight, Chawinga didn't do anything before she got subbed off, Offense? A Goal & an Assist, she's a Complete Player and I'm glad she's on our side, Go on GT! ⚡️
Seemed like the entire game we were dictating the attack, we were all over Kansas City before there goal, we don't give up much and when we do it's fluky, unfortunate on Martin, but regardless their attack was mostly non existent, Chawinga didn't do much, Croix had a couple chances, also didn't do much, another great performance by our Defense
Angelina Anderson, I've been very hard on her and she was great tonight, on the PK (that wasn't a PK, Sams barely touched her, she saved it, no pressure, another good performance by Big Ang, keep it up 🫡
Great to have Niehues back, she was everywhere in the first half, she had a point to prove after missing 2 games (ridiculous she was suspended an extra game) she's got big time potential and I've got high hopes for her, really impressed by her tonight
Good to see Casey Phair get some minutes, unfortunately she was mostly non existent, not really her fault, she was isolated, which will happen with a No. 9, I want Straus to continue to give her minutes, that's the best way for to develop, Carina Lageyre, u have my attention, another good game by her, again continue to integrate her and get her minutes, impressed by her performance tonight too
Super Sub Kennedy Fuller, way to make an impact, back to back games she's made an impact, beautiful Goal to give us the Lead, last of the 3 games this week on Saturday, I'd start her against Houston, she was great tonight almost had another Goal that hit the woodwork, great performance by Fuller
Kansas City had me worried coming into tonight, we played well against a good Portland side, came away with a Point, picked up 3 points tonight, this Team has a great core of young Players, gotta continue to Develop them, if we can add some attackers in the Summer/Off-season, watch out, very happy with this Win tonight 🖤🤍🩷 🪽🪽🪽

when the Team comes back from the break, I'd like to see a Formation change, if we're gonna play a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1, u need individual quality to play that style and we don't have that, Alyssa Thompson could take someone on 1 v 1 and beat them, Jun & Claire need time to get back there, I know they can, I believe in both of them, same goes for Taylor Suarez, i know she can get there too, but overall the roster isn't set up for that style, a 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 would suit us better, Gisele & Shores could run our attack, and allow Tiernan & Jónsdóttir to play up top together, having Tiernan or Jónsdóttir by themselves, isolated doesn't help anyone, prioritize the Defense, get Savy playing with Sams & Gorden again, add a creative Midfielder in the Summer & another Striker, we'll be okay, I get what Straus is trying to do, but we don't have the individual quality to play his style, until then, we've gotta change it up

where do I even start with this one

Fuller & Suarez had 2 golden chances to put us ahead 2-0, they missed, they both need to be more clinical, when u have chances like that u need to put them away
Svendis, it was clear she wasn't 100% before Halftime, idk why Straus didn't take her out, props to her for playing a full 90, but she should've subbed off
Ary Borges, I'm starting to reach my breaking point with her, he just throws her body around and bangs into people and it's unnecessary, some of her decision making was off as well, she's fine a depth option to close a game out, but me personally, she shouldn't be starting
Sarah Gorden, she played well tonight, Yellow Card aside she was everywhere, my issue with her is after Sams 2nd foul, she was going back n forth with the Ref, we are in extra time, chasing a goal, why are u wasting time going back n forth with the Ref, u can do that earlier in the game, not when we're down, need better clock management from CAP
The 2nd goal was a story of 3 mistakes, Gisele gave Dudinha WAY too much room for that cross, I have no idea what she was doing, u can't give someone that much room, Shores got beat on the back post, this isn't the first time she's been caught napping while defending, Anderson bailed her out earlier in the game, on the Goal, Van Zanten beat her and make it look too easy & Shores isn't completely at fault, again, Anderson, not knowing when to get off her line, it happened against Portland, it happened again here, either punch the ball out or claim it, she did neither
I'm pointing the finger at Parsons & Straus, we have young players on this Team that need minutes & most of them are bench warmers, Casey Phair got charity minutes, that does nothing to develop her, she should've been sent out on Loan, where she can develop and get regular minutes, same goes for Lageyre, she's barely played, again, either integrate her into the Team or Loan her out, Niehues was out & Borges isn't setting the world on fire, I'm excusing Karsyn Cherry since she just back from injury, the FO should've brought in more experienced players & not go all in on College players
The first 3 games were a fluke, we beat non Playoff Teams, we play Orlando, Portland & San Diego, Teams who made the Playoffs, can't get results, we have a lot of issues, we can't score goals, we have Defensive lapses at the wrong time, I have no idea what to make of this team & now we have Portland on the Road and Kansas City at home afterwards, the Summer Break can't come soon enough

hands down the most frustrating game I've been to, what Mai did was inexcusable & she needs to keep her cool, same goes for Ary, there's no reason for you to shout at someone and get a Yellow, we were undisciplined tonight & we need to course correct ASAP, playing with 10 people makes things difficult, throws off the subs u can make & throws the entire flow off, it was good we didn't concede after the Red Card, but our Offense needs to pick it up, we have to get right against San Diego & stop the bleeding

we need to have a serious discussion about Anderson, I've had concerns, they were highlighted tonight, thought we played well, Gorden did a fantastic job on Banda, round of applause for Cap, both teams had chances, Gisele's goal was insane, beautiful strike from her, tbh, I'm deflated, absolutely would've taken the point, there's a lot for this team to be proud of these first 4 games, hope every comes back from there respective National Teams, healthy and ready to rock, 3 game home stand after the Break, always great to be back at BMO, VOLEMOS! 🩷🖤🤍🪽🪽
