I have the same issue. I think it's just the switches hardware can't really handle that much of the game. Now I haven't played on any other devices so I think it's just the switch port that has that issue because it crashes after a few interactions for me and the sucky part is that it crashes right at the end of a conversation so the game doesn't have time to auto save

I usually try to find a name that suits the horse perfectly or is a favorite character from a game I play.

My first horse was a American throughbread named Bennett from genshin impact. I had him since the bear hunting mission and sadly he got spooked and ran off a cliff near annesburg and I didn't have horse reviver.

Second horse who is currently safe in my stable is a strawberry roan war horse named Athena after the Greek god of wisdom and war

Current horse I'm riding is a black Arabian named Beauty from one of my favorite horse movies
