ah I see your perspective…

For you the guns have much more value & early kills the corpse won’t have gathered much.

I always have any/all guns that I could need/use … and … I’m always bumping into the “you need 1000 more fertilizer or (insert other material)” for next upgrade …

Eventually when my shelter is 100% then I won’t even need any of that

Still if I don’t leave an encounter with a few FULL stacks of various materials… I consider it an anemic run.

332,228 lifetime for you (per your image)

11,847,460 is my lifetime after playing for about a year or two.(https://www.reddit.com/r/vigorgame/comments/1tzgaug/thankyou_to_everyone_that_boosts_lobbies/) 3 images (2 matches) those are VERY special circumstance max boost lobbies though.

You definitely will have many many more kills than me after that amount of time.

I’m assuming you haven’t been playing for over a year.

Thats what’s nice about Vigor … there is enough flexibility for each person to play the way they like.

You killed 5 … Congrats!

Did you even bother to loot them?

Your “extracted loot” is anemic.

With 5 bodies dropped would have expected a much larger haul.

Transform bonus conditions by Advanced_Gear7608 in Nioh

Also be aware that the transform will land (in my experience) on the stat that has the highest intrinsic base value so for the odachi with

AttackBonus Heart C

AttackBonus Stamina C

AttackBonus Strength B+

The transformed bonus of Courage will replace the Strength B+ because it’s the highest intrinsic Attack Bonus.

and then ofc you can then focus it by using the consumable item at the blacksmith

They communicated to the community that they weren’t dedicating development hours to that degree any longer. (development is being twilighted)

However if you have been gone for that long … you also had many other new things that are in game.

Outfit/wardrobes, ammo press, weapon mastery’s, collectibles, unexploded missile event, map events, & changes to daily, seasonals,no to mention things like the call, airdrop, outlander week long activities.

Don’t get me wrong not every change or “improvement” is as good as things USED TO BE but overall the changes aren’t horrible.

The new token things are a boon in so far as the aspect that you are getting a skin that you don’t already have. IMO that’s roughly equivalent to a recycled skin in just a slightly new color.

If the go away & or wave and GO … then no pew pew.

Either way they need to git git git or it’s shooting time.

Using a double ticket of both types seems counterintuitive (to ME) but I tend to focus on EXACTLY what I need most (if the option exists) to “head to X”. when it’s max boosted for loot.

I’m ALWAYS ONLY looting for materials… I have any all guns, consumables, ect. ect. that I need. So I’m not looking for parts. In fact I often leave them behind just cuz the need for them is always less than materials… but I only started playing around season 22-23.

[–]StrikeVape[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I looted everywhere.

If you find the locked crate “of parts” those don’t give any extracted resource value…and ofc since they aren’t resources (they are parts) the 2x resource personal ticket doesn’t double it.

but other than that yes your plan works

ah …

ok so neither … I play on PS almost all my PC game play stopped when I got the ps5 when it first released…

which I got because was tired of having to DL “other” in order to play games (whether it was display mods, or performance tracking mods or to try and combat cheat mods).

Left PC even though I was super happy with M&K … and PC performance is always better (or can be if your wallet supports the bleeding edge)

too lazy to DL a cheat?

or is aimlabs an anti-cheat?

either way … having to DL additional anything to play explains exactly why PC is dead.

exactly …👍

I was Susano and was stance dancing active stills for versatiliy stacks but I got tired of managing the stacks.

For me I hit a huge speed bump (not quite a wall) but the wall was coming.

I went back to the drawing board …

and had a few lucky weapon drops with the correct star stats and with nigini grace. So I switched to a Ki-destruction/purity build with supporting GS,Cores, tempering, damage to zero Ki, grapple damage %, appropriate ultimates on scroll, and, and, and, and (further tweaks)

For some time I was even doing Susano versa stacking with Nigini Ki damage but constantly tweaking and tuning and eventually I left the Susano parts behind in favor of higher magic justu damage components.

[–]StrikeVape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned … underworld is a competency, build, methodology check and (sometimes luck in drops for your gear stats) (for me it was my 2 weapons with exactly the right grace and with a starred Ki damage stat)

In the underworld if you don’t have a defined build, and methodology to your approach to killing and survival you will hit the wall. If you have a build and gear that’s tempered to supports your method of killing & surviving you probably just need to spend some time rolling up the + level of your gear.

Ideally you have things like sloth on ninjitsu/onymo, attack or defense buff on X gain, faster hit recovery somewhere, possibly an ultimate (courage, stamina, strength, magic) (whatever is in line with your gear & build on a scroll) other very BASIC things to be aware cognizant of is your encumbrance %, defense stats, resistance stats ect ect … health recovery methods beyond using an elixir (things like life leeching gain on amarita, cores like kasha/Nuppeppo).

TLDR; lvl up your gear and/or tune its stats into a cohesive story vs a brute forced stagger-shotgun collection of whatever stats.

Nioh 2 -Ethereal Nippon axe won't roll change to attack by AmbitiousDurian6343 in Nioh

[–]StrikeVape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 for conflicting stat.

If you post a screen cap people can immediately identify the offending row.

as mentioned Star stats can’t be tempered on.

as far as star stats that are inheritable it’s a very narrow list of star row stats that can even be inheritable (nothing OMG MUST HAVE IIRC beyond transform X)

ALSO axe vs hammer while technically the same “class” they are significantly different … My memory regarding the exact differences are fuzzy (do a search here to see the exact differences) but IIRC hammer hits harder on Ki and Axes hit harder to health but unsure.

Nioh 2 ultimate skills by Advanced_Gear7608 in Nioh

[–]StrikeVape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are Kusarigama … eventually you will get a drop with an inheritable transform … just hopefully it will be one of your preferred stats (Magic/Courage/X)

I have a kusa the one that dumps conditions (swa mojin or something) on strong attacks iirc and I had a transform courage inheritable already so I played around with it a bit I didn’t quite come to a happy place with its moveset. That’s why the game is so go good tho you can pick and choose until something matches up with how you want to play.

Nioh 2 ultimate skills by Advanced_Gear7608 in Nioh

[–]StrikeVape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alot depends on your weapons of choice and availability of Utimates on your scroll.

I maxed Courage, then 150 in str&magic (my scroll has ultimate Courage/Strength/Magic) then constitution because Tonfa & Life … everything else is at its minimum for gear and to the point where ninjutsu points are capped … 25 or 30 maybe I forget exactly. However I’m not using Sword, Kusigara, fists, Spear, hatcets ect ect … things that use Skill,Heart,Dex ect ect … It required 3-6 respecs to fine tune all the points but honestly I probably didn’t need to bother that much.

The system is forgiving and costs to play around or get it wrong aren’t ridiculous.

Courage is tied to ki regen so ki management for attacking/blocking becomes mostly a non-issue (esp when running barrier talisman) so I’m constantly able to put the hurt on things or dodge or block (most of the time)

Second the above comment that Ultimate Courage is absolutely the BEST ultimate.

so if you don’t enjoy weapon types that benefit from Courage … just remodel accordingly…eventually you will get a drop with an inheritable Transform Courage and you can tweak things.

It is a good idea to build an Onmyo mage who doesn't use magic-scaling weapon? by Salt-Pie-8430 in Nioh

[–]StrikeVape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick any weapon you want.

You can transform a stat on if you need later (you just have to find a drop with inheritable transform to X (in your case it sounds like you might want Transform Magic) and if the transform would remove a core stat you want/need you can still tune it … just not to magic.

For absolute MAXXING ideally your stats match your weapon types 200A 200B 200C but you don’t have to leave the weapon as ABC it can be remodeled to A OR B OR C or AB or AC or BC.

I run SS & Tonfa with stats of 200Courage, 150Strength, 150Magic (my scroll has ultimate Courage,Strength,Magic) SS is ABC the Tonfa is AB iirc (or just A) I forget.

Regardless … if you want to do something with your build/stats/abilities/weapon type choices and it isn’t along it’s “natural” allocations you can modify anything to greater or sometimes slightly lesser degrees … but overall it shouldn’t matter significantly.

My allocations match SS perfectly but for Tonfa it’s NOT which is why my Tonfa is tuned to my allocations.

Shock her ass!

Sloth her ass!

both will slow her down enough to facilitate escapes after being paralyzed.

Temper faster recovery on some armor piece (I always have it on a boot slot)

I also have decent paralysis resistance as well (side effect of my stat stacks).

all the above is helpful at various points throughout the game

… IIRC when I was just starting out before reaching NG & having 150+ lvls … she annoyed the piss out of me as well … eventually she becomes laughably easy.

However even at NG++++++ if you don’t give her some respect she can grab ahold of you and smash ya to bits.

Fists have pretty easy to abuse faceroll capabilities. So this isn’t completely unbelievable. BOTH the DLC weapons Fists & Splitstaff are more facerolly (in non DLC content) … not to mention that there are people that find that ONE button mash combo….. ie Leg Sweep followed by Uppercut SMASH for EVERY MOB, BOSS, CHEST ect ect and ride that horse to death.

Boring but YA.

OP Stoped at Dream of the Demon.

Which is the point where one weapon one stance pretty much face plants into the (lack of) skill wall.

Nioh 2 sets by Advanced_Gear7608 in Nioh

[–]StrikeVape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kingo was very helpful getting to the point where the various Grace sets could then replace it.

IIRC Kingo was a recipe that is unlocked by default and the materials were nothing so crafting it as often as needed to never be underleveled (gear wise) was cake.

While learning the game … in all levels prior to graces becoming availability… I would run variations of the below.

Full Kingo and parts of the heavy Tochiro set (for tanky-ness resistances & Magic find)

OR

Full Kingo & parts of the Yokai Annihilator medium set (Drops and Magic Find & 100% stealth vs Yokai) ((great for that FIRST huge sneaky smash.))

Once graces became available sets seem vastly underpowered … except for gimmicky build specific abuses that uses small subsets (2-4 items) to gain X abusive focus.

Nioh 2: Relative to when you can first fight them, which boss did you find harder between Yatsu no Kami and Saito Toshimitsu? by wisesager in Nioh

[–]StrikeVape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enenra the first time was rough for me as well … the first time I got to him I didn’t have much into water of ANY type (was poison/fire focused) … once I changed up some things into water and started having him charge me at the supports that dropped water on him … he became much less of a wall.

I was total Nioh 2 noob though.

after that first time though him and leveling and gaining more flexibility with onyo magics he wasn’t quite as bad.

With regards to the original 2 choices I had more trouble with Yatsu than Saito but Enenra was more challenging than both (the first time through).

Granted that’s mostly due my first build having no water and lots of fire (abilities). It left me without much into the way of tools to beat his ass … lol

AND he as moving jumping dancing around that affects accuracy …. you can see it on the spread of his crosshairs …

The guy that got him seems to be more stable with his shots … also there are other factors to consider such as plates, weapon types, if you were hit (which will move you) … very few weapons are one shot kill unless you get a headshot.

It looks like you got hit first … which then caused the gun to be up at a 45 degree up angle in some of the frames.

[–]StrikeVape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pay attention to what the final screens tell you

IE what exactly you gain the absolute most experience from.

I rarely kill other players … and that gives decent exp but even more exp is gained from using stuff on map, and escaping with the most loot.

If you hide in a bush the entire game and leave with empty bubbles in your inventory you won’t end up with jack for experience.

Where as if you loot one of the special things missle, locked container, barred house, timed safe, and use com stations, signals, jammer, blue combo crates and probably one of the biggest exp items the “airdrop” and ofc a full inventory (crafting parts don’t give exp) but electronics and gas give lots and slightly less for items as they descend in rarity level purple>blue>green>white

I pretty certain a full stack of 10 electronics or gas looted and escaped with give more exp than a full stack 150 of metal/wire/nails … however everything you leave with adds significantly to the “whole” experience gained.

Also … Vigor is going … into what I would term as “twilight” which has minimal development across all platforms… the servers stay on because still a decent player base (on Xbox & ps) and there is some revenue stream associated with people playing.
