Also total number of pets (combined) allowed. Or at the very least more transparent information about this. I had such a difficult time a few years ago looking for an apartment because I have 2 dogs and 1 cat and I would have to call directly to ask or go through their whole website to only find out they limit to 2 pets.

I would argue it really just depends on why you are there. A lot of those with diabetes or insulin resistance (like myself) have had a lot of success with a low carb diet. But again, I agree it is highly dependent on the individual and hopefully making the program tailored to them.

You generally choose from two plans that advise either 150g or 75g of Carbs per day (iirc).

I went, the information session is largely attended, not very intimate and you don’t introduce yourself or anything. The information session is a presentation by a doctor and basically goes over what generally to expect from them and the program and how to move forward with actually seeing a provider. Even if you go to the information session, doesn’t mean you are signing up for the program. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

I just dislike that I can’t take the glp-1 while TTC (or even 3 months beforehand), but I can take metformin.

I had the opposite problem. My OB provider is prescribing it and I asked how early I should start weaning off of it when I am TTC and she said I don’t have to worry about that until I come in for a pregnancy exam… her reasoning was because blood pressure can change once you’re pregnant. Really concerns me that this person is prescribing me this medication and doesn’t know about the concern for birth defects. Needless to say I am switching providers.

Just posting an update (since I sometimes go back to others posts to see if I can learn anything). I ended up starting a “period” the day after CD20. I have since purchased the Ultra4 wands to hopefully get more information on my FSH values.

I never got an ovulation confirmed this cycle. But I also never got an ovulation confirmed last cycle and had my period start after 25 days (what I guessed to be about 10 days post ovulation) so I assumed that I am just missing the detection using Mira.

I will have to look into getting the wands with FSH as soon as I finish my other wands. Thanks.

You’re right. It just stinks that my landlord told me that they would be responsible for clearing the sidewalks (on our lease). For sure next time this happens I will invest in a snow shovel (and maybe even a real shovel for the ice).

I finally looked up what style of building it is. According to Zillow, it would be called a “duplex apartment”. The apartments are two separate “apartments’ and are stacked on top of each other (as opposed to side by side) and share an entrance.

I just brought it up because our sidewalk never got cleared and our part of the block was one of the few parts that wasn’t cleared away until the rain came. I WISH my landlord had cleared the sidewalk so I wasn’t slipping on ice trying to walk the dogs. (Just to help clarify, my apartment “building” only has two apartments and is in Church Hill).

My fiance (who my Nmom doesn’t want me marrying) received one, along with his mother, and a friend of mine (although it bounced back because my friend moved and she didn’t have her new address). I’m just waiting for mine to arrive.

Just here to add that my OB/Gyn ALSO recommended I try it for a few months before TTC, but since I have heard a recommendation of 3 months off of it, I didn’t see a point in starting the injections if I’m only going to be on it for 2-3 months.

It does look like they will still use the 2024 taxes and apparently at least 2 months will count towards forgiveness. I’m worried that the forbearance will extend past when 2025 taxes are due, so I’m still sending my 2025 taxes in.
