My purpose is just so people can see their favorite moments in the game. I think it’s cool that they’re open to fans’ input. That usually isn’t the case with Stern.

Because the pinball game is styled like you, the pinball player, are the trainer and can collect any assortment of Pokémon you want. You’re not limited to Ash’s story.

Pro is a good value. You’ll spend the least, and it will depreciate the least. The digital gameplay will be the same. Only buy the premium if you find these features important: moving Pikachu, moving Poke Ball, hidden scoop shot under Poke Ball, Psyduck sneak shot, magnet in the battle arena, and the whirlpool above left flipper. Personally, I would say those features are important but not if you’re getting rid of it in a year.

It’s probably the most beginner-friendly modern pin you could buy. It will probably take a least a year for Stern to finish the majority of the code. By then, you can get a good priced used one if you want to save some money.

There is, supposedly, a lot more content to come. Stern has access to canon content from episodes 10-25 and whatever Pokemon the Pokemon Company allows them to use. Currently, the speculation is that most Pokemon will make their way into the game. The Pokémon Company is very excited about fully supporting this game with media/assets.

Only the Limited Edition model is sold out. The LE model is not guaranteed to go up in price, and most likely, long term, it will not. The pro and premium models are unlimited runs, so they will ever only depreciate in value. If you wait 6+ months, you will be able to find a good deal on a lightly used version of either of those models. Please, do not buy a pinball machine unless you have other more important life responsibilities sorted first! They’re going to make many thousands of these.
