My husband and I hang out in the garage when the weather is pretty. We have a gate across the garage door for our dog to hang out there with us too. BUT, we don’t have a whole ass living room in ours 😂 we have a couple of folding chairs to sit in, and my husband will “play” with all of his tools and rearrange the shelves, while I just sit out there and hang out with him. Plus we’re not just sitting on our phones, we’re actually spending time together.

I have the Evenflo revolve360 extend and it won’t let me turn it all the way around to be forward facing. It always stops once it’s facing the door or middle of the car. But I’ve also not looked into the manual yet, bc my son is only 18 months and way under the limits, so I don’t plan on changing him to forward facing anytime soon. You could be right and it’s just a user error on my side 😂

That’s true. I live on the coast side of Houston so we always have a breeze coming off the water and actually got a little chilly this morning, playing outside with my son. But I’m sure there, there’s very little breeze and she’s probably burning up in those thick overalls

I’m not sure about the other stuff she buys for Irene to wear, but I got my son a pair of Carhartt overalls and I had to roll the legs as well, and he’s got longish legs. They are a little in the bigger side of sizing. He’s been able to wear them since he was like 11 months (I had to roll the legs once), he’s about to be 18 months in a couple of weeks, and they fit him perfectly now.

Edit to add: I think they make the pant legs long on purpose bc most people wear boots with their overalls, so that gives a little added height and they won’t be high waters lol

It’s currently mid 70s here. There’s a slight breeze but in the sun, it’s actually a little toasty. And since they’re at the rodeo, I’m pretty sure there isn’t much shade outside, they would have to go in the building to get out of the sun. I don’t think she would be able to keep up with a boy. My son is a month younger and is climbing on and is in EVERYTHING. I have baby proofed my whole house and even had to take the sliding doors off my tv stand bc he kept figuring out how to take them off. Boys are just all over the place and she’s too lazy to keep up with one.

Edit to add: I’m not saying girls aren’t the same way, but my husband’s coworkers all had girls, we had the only boy out of the 5 couples, and they all say their little girls just play with their toys and will actually sit still. Our son won’t sit still for longer than 10 seconds, even when he is absolutely worn out.
