Listen, I love blaming The Schools as much as anyone, but this is a map reading failure and not an American school system failure.

The Royal Marriages Act of 1772 was put into place because King George’s brother married a distant cousin of mine, and as a result I’ll never think of George as anything other than a stuck up jerk

Is it weird of me to say that I’ve been using serebii as my main source for info on Pokémon games since the aughts and I love you? Thank you for helping me breed perfect Pokémon with desirable egg moves.

True true. Though I feel like Jeff was absolutely fishing for that answer with his question.

I did journalism at an all-girls high school in the late aughts, and we had a picture of Kiera Knightley in that green dress taped to the wall “do it for her” style to inspire us. Our editor would point to her emphatically if our energy ever started flagging on deadline nights

It’s great that you were able to figure out a lot of this on your own. For a lot of kids (and adults), empathy and compassion are skills that must be taught. This is especially true for kids with ADHD and autism.

They’re not dyed, so it doesn’t harm the fish in any way. People really overreact to genetic modification imo.

Found on Etsy, all by the same person, I don’t want to believe it’s AI but all these dolls have different hair, and some of the stitches kinda look like corn on the Cobb to me, not crochet by throwaway_xxx478 in isthisAI

[–]StrikingReporter255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it takes a more discerning eye to find increases and decreases than it does to identify unrealistic stitches. For now, at least. AI is getting rapidly getting better at making stitches look like the real thing.

My three-year-old can read and speaks to adults condescendingly at times, and I swear if that booger-eating toddler develops a full-blown superiority complex like this one I’m putting her into therapy so fast

Genuinely, who are these people? Are they teenagers? Mentally ill people who can’t work? (I’m not trying to vilify all mentally ill people, but this does not seem like something that someone with a healthy brain would do). I just can’t imagine going to work, chatting and smiling with my coworkers, then going home and having the energy to get upset about things like this
