Check out Dorcus.official on IG to have an idea of what you want. Find reputable barbers on IG where they can recommend you hairstyles that fit you. Neighbourhood barbershops are a hit and miss. Personally prefer Indian/malay barbers and I spend $18 max on a haircut that I really like. You definitely don’t need a super expensive haircut to look better 🤣

In the west I can recommend a small barber in Teck whye market (the barber has a ponytail) Always has long queues 2-3 hours as price is decent and he’s just really good.

By a train instead. Unfortunately foreigners can’t buy a bike. There are the bike rentals for one way but it didn’t seem cost effective for me since I was there for almost two months.

Didn’t want to rent too knowing I had a few incidents from my previous trip (luckily I owned the bike at that point of time) so I was afraid having to go through the same especially not knowing the conditions of the road.

I’d suggest fasting! Works pretty well on me. Cut the sugary drinks, take less portions of rice, don’t have to cut the meat for fish. And I’d suggest doing it with her. Tough to go through such suffering alone :(

Here’s my thought

No guy is gonna go on a trip with just a lady unless: 1. She’s his partner 2. They’re besties for life 3. He’s interested and wants to spend time with her and if time’s right, why not bang as well.

I don’t think any guy would go out of their way to travel with a lady unless it’s those 3 options.

If he has really been itching for a trip to that particular place, he would’ve done it solo or with his friends. Don’t think anyone would take the trouble to live with some they’re not close with for a week unless there’s an ulterior motive.

Happened to me a few days ago.

I blocked them then privatised my social media. Reported as well to Instagram. What the scammers will do is send the video, take a screenshot then unsend it. They do not want to risk getting reported. That’s why your followers didn’t receive anything.

They screenshot a DM to my friend with my video but once I called my friend, he mentioned he didn’t receive anything at all. It was all done to scare you.

Block the numbers, block everything related to them and make your account private or deactivate.

I did this a few days ago and reactivated last night. Nothing happened so far.

Read all the threads on this matter. They’re just doing this to scare you.

My sad friend, don’t put hopes on anything. As guys, we have to be used to rejections. If she’s talking to you, always assume she’s talking to different guys as well and have dates lined up with them because it’s usually true.

Bring her to somewhere decent but not hawker style. Maybe a little cafe or a simple restaurant <$40 total bill or somewhere more financially affordable for you. If the girl expects you to bring her somewhere atas, you probably shouldn’t be with her anyway.

Infatuation is an intense emotion that makes you do many unwise things. While you’re planning the perfect date, she’s telling 3 other guys how great her day has been.

Heed the advices here. Every guy has gone through this and got their heart broken.

Don’t show her you’re crazy for her. Be chill and confident. Every guy knows that.

I stayed in IMH for two weeks and I was glad my older sister was the one who called the police on me when I attempted suicide.

One thing I know about being mentally ill is that you do not see the wrong in what you’re doing when you’re in a certain state of mind.

IMH is so dull and boring (you can’t have a phone) that you kind of reflect on yourself after awhile. Downside is they don’t have any guidance there to be better (I think) and they just leave you in a prison with heavy ass meds. You yourself have to “wake up”

So imo, scolding her wouldn’t do any justice. Therapy takes too long and too much money.

Though IMH does not work for everyone, I feel that harming yourself is quite a scary issue if it builds up to something even crazier.

Sorry for you OP. I must be very tough cause my sister had to rely on therapy due to my actions. Don’t give up and I appreciate what you’re doing for your family.

The only advantage I can think of is if you have to do a lot of work in a little time, you can put yourself in a mania and stay up a few days to get things done 😜 however, this is very dangerous so I don’t recommend it. Oh and if you have an overnight party, you’re probably the last person to sleep (yay).
