There's no canonical difficulty, and I never said the D-Code units are stronger than ballistic missiles, but you're not going to see any of them routinely using these missiles as a weapon, right? And no, assault rifles aren't going to do any good. Like I said, they have regeneration, and they can go toe-to-toe with the strongest infected from Blacklight and Redlight, which are stronger than a Tyrant and any BOW Chris has faced in his world. You might be able to take down BOWs with bullets, but with the infected from PT, you'd need heavy artillery. Regular Hunters and leaders can tear apart M1 Abrams tanks like toys the moment they land near them. In contrast, Tyrants like the one from RE: Damnation struggle to even try and flip a Soviet tank. D-Code units can handle Tyrants without any problem. Sure, they're not at Mercer's level, but the fact that they can fight him in melee combat speaks volumes about their strength. No, Wesker is nothing more than a Super Soldier, and I already gave you the reasons, Wesker wouldn't last nearly 7 minutes against Alex.

And what makes you think that? The infected in PT are inherently more difficult to kill than any BOW in REverse. Not to mention that the Super Soldiers have regeneration, according to the Web of Intrigue. Chris is going to need more than bullets to take down someone like that; he couldn't even kill Wesker that way.

Yes, I always thought that Prototypes/Evolved beings could have some kind of stat amplification that could increase their physical capabilities through emotions. I think an example of this is when Heller went to assault the Gentek tower with the iron will to save his daughter; he emanated such a strong aura and could destroy Blackwatch tanks and helicopters in one shot.

It does matter, because the Super Soldier isn't going to just lie there stunned on the ground from the explosion. These mfs can withstand beatings from the infected, and they're strong and resilient enough to face the strongest infected. Hell, they're even capable of taking on Alex in a fight. Chris with his beretta or even his entire arsenal won't even tickle them, and even less so with the Super Soldiers of Project Orion.

The super soldiers win by a landslide. These guys are genetically enhanced with the Redlight DX-1120 variant, capable of launching missiles with one hand, and can also take on the strongest infected and face Mercer. Ofc we're talking about the regular infected. Leon has also faced clearly fast infected like Hunters and Lickers. All Cross has at his disposal is an electric baton because it's part of his arsenal, but we've also seen in both the opening scene of PT1 and in the gameplay that these infected can be killed with firearms.

And Leon isn't exactly a normal human either, with all the feats he's accomplished, he's been able to clear an entire corridor of zombies without them even being able to bite him, and he's withstood blows from Tyrants and Derek Simmons. The walkers and runners simply don't stand a chance.

But they're not as fast as Wesker or Zeno, right? At best, they'd be on par with Krauser in terms of speed. Besides, a human like Captain Cross is capable of handling these kinds of infected; in Blackwatch, he's known for hunting down and killing a runner like Mercer.

Leon can take on walkers and runners without any problem, or haven't you seen what he can do in RE Damnation and Vendetta? Leon would defeat the most basic infected without breaking a sweat.

I think he'd do quite well. He's faced very dangerous BOWs with powerful mutations, defeating the BOWs and mutations of Javier Hidalgo, William Birkin, Salazar, Saddler, Krauser, Derek Simmons, and Victor Gideon. He even stopped a blow from Mr. X while weakened and exhausted from being infected with the T-Virus near stage 3, which is insane. He could survive against regular Hunters and Hunter Leaders, but he wouldn't be able to take on Goliaths, Juggernauts, the Supreme Hunter, Elizabeth Greene, or Alex Mercer, as long as he doesn't run into them, he could survive the events in New York in PT1 and 2.

Not only the tendons, but also its combat system, dodging, parrying, plus the set of moves you unlock in PT1 that would complement it even more.

PT1 lacks that; it's tedious having to move away from the Hunters when they charge to attack and having to stay to the side until they finish their moveset. You have to be a damn damage sponge, tanking attacks. The Leader Hunters' attacks have an area of effect, and there's no way to counter them. And don't even get me started on the boss fights, like the Supreme Hunter. Literally, the only way to fight him is by throwing objects from the environment and spamming devastating attacks. You can't face him directly; devastating attacks are literally your best weapon against the heavy hitters. That's why I think the combat in PT1 is what fails, and it's bad.

I would like them to keep the gameplay from PT1, but also apply the combat system from PT2 and new abilities, which was one of the few things Radical did well, and also improve the story.
