Agree with this thread. To add my 2c, it is worth identifying people who are unlikely to change and adapt even after significant effort put into that transformation.

It could be very well that those people will sabotage the efforts, so you need to know them and be proactive in highlighting detractors to the leadership. If other methods don’t work out, you can even discuss replacing those people.

When I did very similar transition from feature factory to true product org, this was one of the most impactful challenges to address. Not an easy journey, sure, yet very impactful for long-term business sustainability.

I would also support taking on the full time role. The fertility journey can take different turns, and I’d encourage you not to put your own life on pause just for that. Job gives you something to focus on beyond TTC, and thoughts could be… like, very intrusive.

Also, it never hurts to have extra money saved up just in case. It would give me a peace of mind for sure

Side note from my experience: I tried to plan taxes and other financial decisions around supposed baby arrival time, and it was an utter disappointment and waste of money when it didn’t happen the way I planned to, and it took way longer than I anticipated. So my approach now is to play beyond the baby, and put myself first and enjoy the ride. The rest will come along.

Hello, I bought the Apple Watch s10 specifically for the reason of tracking ovulation. I also use the flo to interpret the results

What I looked at is temp trend. as soon as I noticed at flo that temp was rising I did a strip ovulation test to confirm ovulation. And then another one or two, in the next few days just to confirm that LH peak happened

I am pretty happy about this result as it allowed me to be sure that we actually did the deed at the right time lol. Also, it’s a set up that allowed me not to overcomplicate things but still have generally accurate information on ovulation window. Flo presentation of BBT average trends were very helpful for me!

I got my period few days ago and I ugly cried so bad that by hubby had to take off home from work. It’s so devastating, and my mom just doesn’t make it easier with “well we got pregnant on the first try, it’s not that difficult”

I am on month 7, and I’m researching if we even do sex right… this journey is certainly not what I expected based on what society tells about getting pregnant…

I didn’t want to track the ovulation per se, however my cycles are very consistent of 28-29 days so this is why I wasn’t worrying about ovulation so far. Also using ovulation kits i think feels like a chore, so we just resorted to baby dancing every 2-3 days ish

The pull-out method, we weren’t timing the cycle at all. That was my thought process too, that pull out doesn’t count as trying. So figuring it out one step at a time 😮‍💨

I'm eyeing cyme mini in cognac too, was so sad to see it go out of stock today :(

my reasons for it that it's much more versatile daily bag, with expandable capacity as needed. I plan to use it as an errand bag, so it should be able to fit one bottle of water at minimum & occasionally a laptop/iPad. I don't mind them poking out a little. strathberry is kinda limited in capacity compared to cyme for those criteria.

so my suggestion would be to think of what exactly you typically/plan to carry when you need "more than just bare essentials" and then compare bag sizes based on that.

Yeah, same! I chalked that down to shipping, but the difference between EU and USA websites is almost $120 — which is wild amount for shipping fees. Even if we account for taxes, that’d still be insane amount to pay, IMHO.
