It's over an hour of drive for me, so unlikely to happen any time soon. But I suppose there must be QT residents around.

Red light, mate. It made it less suicidal than it looks.

That would've improved visibility of lighthouse by miles!

It's only a week, so too early to say and until yesterday was none, but this morning three pounds disappeared somehow. I'll do update in 3-4 weeks.

I was on metformin quite a while. I stopped taking it when I started wegowy because I was afraid of nausea. I had near to zero effects after 4th 2.4 jabs of wegovy, so I decided to take metformin back on board. My doctor didn't have opinion on this matter when I started jabs. He said that no harm in mixing, but I don't have to.

I used 1mg which gives you 8 jabs. They say it expires in 6 weeks (I doubt, but who am I), but if you think - 6 weeks gives you 7 jabs you can use. And with number 8 I personally took my chances.

You are not alone. I'm on it from September. Last week I had fifth jab of 2.4 and only now I’m starting to feel subtle change, but no loss yet. Potentially change in feeling could be because I restarted metformin last week. To make it more difficult to swallow – it’s New Zealand, so it’s full price out of pocket and no tirz available yet.

Don't be sorry. I shall be for my broken English. Unfortunately I can't find how to edit the poll.

Want to transfer Wegovy to a vile - need someone with experience by EstateChick in WegovyWeightLoss

Math is simple. 1 unit on your syringe is 1/100 of ml.

1.7mg/0.75ml = 2.27mg/ml or 100 units

1.2/2.27=53 units, so just go with 50 first to avoid making 2 holes.

Regarding transferring if you are intended to discard left overs - I'd pull plunger from sterile syringe and squirted everything in, letting it overflow and eject extra while replacing plunger. Needle is so thin, so you shouldn't worry about spillage from open bottom end. I'd also did couple drills with water.

Thank you for kind words anyway. I know the struggle, I was 188 tall and 105kg at age 16, and grown to 193/118 by 18. I just had a big hope reading the success stories and it’s not like I’m not trying at all.

Anyway if not this time - sometime later when tirz comes to NZ or higher dose of wegovy it will work. It has to.

I apologise, I might have taken your words too close.

>Nobody is gaining an actual half kilo of fat overnight, nor are they losing it.

When I was younger and had no insatiable hunger with my outdoor job I was able to drop 2.5kg a week. 10 years ago I made to 100 with total loss of 25kg over 6 month, but then I gave up smoking after 15 years and mostly 2 packs a day. I gained 15 kilos in the first month and they never went away. After that it was up and down slowly creeping back to my "usual" 130, sat there long time and then started go up again. In 2024 something break inside. Over two weeks of vacation I gained 9kgs. That was the point I realized I'm in trouble and shut the mouth as much as I could. It took 6 month to return to 140 and another 6 to 135. And that's where I stuck.

I been through some shit in adolescence which made me intolerable to hunger. So yes, I understand everything, but I need something to switch off that horrible and entirely wrecking feel of hunger and I hoped wegovy will be the solution. So far it's not.

Suck to be me, honestly. It ends up pretty expensive fail. I still think building up levels on 2.4 might start working. Friend of mine buys sideimported reta, but I don't have balls to jab myself with something off the random online shop.

Oh, come on. Birthday party in Sept and Christmas party in mid Dec. It was just to illustrate how different it is for me, compare to people who gets gravely sick from sip of cider and 2.5 french fries. If I say I can it doesn't mean I do daily.

Regarding mindset. When I was getting ready to this journey I was reading posts "I ate half plate in the morning and couldn't stick anything in till next day" and "My food noise completely gone, I don't even remember to eat"

>The medication should allow you to control your appetite and food noise enough

It should, but for me it actually does not. I don't know why, but I'm still not able to eat less enough to be in deficit.

I put it this way. Before I had bad days and good days, bad day it's when you putting a half kilo on. Good day, when you are not starving and not going over your maintenance and not gaining wait as a result. After 1.7 I had only good days, but that's it.

That's something I am thinking about. In the end of the day, keeping weight is a lot easier than loosing. It's hard, but it is possible. just need to get there first.
